As the PGA Tour season comes to an end, some players are heartbroken after missing the cut at the RSM Classic and losing their Tour card.
Meanwhile, Scottie Scheffler has marked his name next to Tiger Woods with one of the best scoring efforts since 2000. Also, the world No. 1 on the ladies’ side has broken a record, but hasn’t earned herself a major yet. It comes as Tommy Fleetwood has made his feelings clear on whether he’d rather win the Masters or the Open Championship.

Joel Dahmen headed into the RSM Classic with a newborn baby at home and 117th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings. He needed to rise just 17 more spots to maintain his PGA Tour card for the 2025 season, which is easier said than done.
“My mind’s at home a lot, honestly, this week. You know, if I’m not playing 25 weeks a year, then I get to hang out with a couple amazing kids and my wife,” said Dahmen before the tournament began. “So there’s no real downside to it. It’s just less golf.”
The 38-year-old shot a two-under 68 in the second round and finished his tournament at 5 under, missing the cut at 7-under as just 74 golfers advanced to the weekend. Dahmen will go without the 2026 Tour card.
Scottie Scheffler matches Tiger Woods on statistics line
As the RSM Classic ends and the statistical lines are finalized, it’s confirmed that Scheffler, a 19-time PGA Tour winner in his career, including four major championships plus an Olympic gold medal, matched Woods with an incredible feat for the 2025 season.
Scheffler, once again, had the PGA Tour’s best scoring average in 2025. The 29-year-old led in many categories, including strokes gained, total and tee-to-green, but most remarkably matched Woods by leading in scoring average for all four days of play over the course of the season.

Scheffler, however, said at the Tour Championship that being compared to Woods is a joke. “I think in the simplest form, I think it’s very silly to be compared to Tiger Woods.”
Jeeno Thitikul wins CME Tour Championship and enters the history books
Jeeno Thitikul earned the LPGA Tour Player of the Year after bagging the biggest prize fund in LPGA history at $4 million.
She started with a six-shot lead and went on to win the 2025 LPGA season finale by four after coming out on top just above her best friend, Pajaree Anannarukarn.
It’s Thitikul’s second straight CME win and third win of the season.

Anannarukarn gave insight into what Thitikul means to her and the LPGA. “I mean, as a friend I think it’s just good to be like a supporter and a friend,” she said.
“Happy to see her doing well and I think I’m just really, you know, glad that we were able to share this moment together and it’s amazing to be there to celebrate with her,” she said, nearly tearing up after the tournament ended.
