Every Ludvig Åberg Shot | 2025 Ryder Cup

Perfect. Now the response from Europe. One of the best swingers we have. This is turning left as well. Will it carry up the back? No, it won’t to four with Oberg. Oberg staring at it. Think he likes it just left of the flag. It’s a great shot though. He’s got 25 ft. Great job, Oberg on the fifth T. He’s watching it. This is not quite perfect. sitting up like a coconut. Ober got a a reasonable look from Henley. It’s always good when your opponent hits a putt on the center line and hits it the correct pace. If you don’t hit it the correct pace, then it’s you’re not learning much to win the hole. Oh, that was unlucky there. That is unbelievable. That got an awful lot of hole to not go in. We’ll go to Oberg at eight. That’ll be given. Americans still have a birdie chip coming. Oberg at the ninth. Chance to go four up. Great pace and walked it in. Oberg puts the hammer down and so does Europe out in that second match. The temple is tied with P. You’re four up, but ties as good as a win. To one. Oh, that’s a weight. That back left hole location down 11’s fooling all of them today. Pace and line. I think the left rough is going to get a a proper look at today. It’s just the the place to come in from even though it’s not a great angle. Just takes a club off it. Seven iron there. That’s a fantastic reply. Pressure on again. There is just no letting up from Lud Voberg and Matt Fitzpatrick. So far just a disaster. I mean it’s not much to say about it’s so rough right now. It’s what it’s Europe is they’re playing so good. I mean the US isn’t giving them any holes. They’re just flat out getting beat. They’re hitting it closer. They’re making the putts they got to make. Um, this Levig FP Patrick pairing was a little I had a little questions about it, but I mean these guys are playing incredible incredible pairing. Incredible by Luke to put them out. Left left Europe here for to tie with a with a birdie as well. So Ram did it. Canoberg. Cue the European fans now. Dead middle right. Tip for tap. It’s amazing. You see guys showing emotion that generally don’t show emotion in this in this tournament. Yeah. It’s unbelievable. You know, guys that are normally very placid, high-fiving, fist pumping, getting the crowd going and I I just think it’s wonderful. What a performance from these two. I got to say, I wasn’t so sure if Fitzpatrick going in forms, but he has delivered and Aubber’s been just a beast off the T. Guy just pounced so hard. Well, that’s even further left. Guess he’s thirsty. I don’t know. Was surprising. Yeah. Do me four up and goes further left. Oberg here. His third. Can’t see the bottom of the flag. Yeah. Didn’t need to be aggressive. Didn’t need to be aggressive. Talk about stepping up to the plate. Oh, see confidence though. The confidence with that was actually Luke Donald picking him for the first m,000% thousand%. He’s only played one four ball match obviously in his Ryder Cup debut last time out at Marco Simone. He lost that one. Left rough. You fancy for that now on the team representing Europe. Rasmus. Back to the first and Ludvic Orbe 69 yds to go for the Sweet. Looks to be lying beautifully. Popular spot. He just picked that off the top there. You see that? Such a good strike. One of the most beautiful swings in golf. Oh, he’s pulled it. Has he? Hang on. No, looks like it’s gone left. That’s only half the team. We’ll have another go. Well, still an opportunity for the Europeans. Little goal there. Also has an eagle putt here. So, this would be to square the match. pretty much on the same line that the Shambo had a had a try from and Justin Rose before that moves a little bit at the end. Just all about the pace, trying to get the right pace and it up the hill. Set that quite firmly. Lovely put again. Same as Justin Rose just ever so slightly across the face of the hole at the end. But easy four. Ask them the question now. The Americans Well, this is an important part, isn’t it, for Ludovig? Remember, as we said, Justin Thomas is in pretty tight. But if could pop this one in, it becomes a little more tricky, doesn’t it? The Thomas part. Wonder if he offered him a half. So, I Well, that’s what you should always do. He’ll turn you down and then when you pop this one in, you think, “Oh, if only I’d said yes.” It’s getting a little bit fruity in the afternoon. Starting to hear moans and groans. I think there’s probably been a little bit of rehydration going on in parts of the course. What a swing. It’s like a driving machine when he’s on. And that looks like a pear. Seemingly a booable drive. First cut may be helpful. Take an ounce of spin off this shot. Just like that. Too good a look to give up this one. Sixth green strikes again. Hog to win the hole. Big ass from behind the hole here at seven. Go. Lovely B from Hela. Follow that. Ludvig and he did. You see that was the total opposite. The ball was below him there, the wind off the right so he could cut it in. He knocks this in and that’s him done his job. It’s up to the Americans to to emulate him. But this is massive pot. Just didn’t look like it was going in. Definite break here for Ludvig Ober down the green off the left. Got to go, hasn’t it? It’s got to turn. Just straighten out again. So many PS we’ve seen do that. Very impressive. A six and five victory for the United States. And as you can see from the top left corner, it is now USA to Europe 3. Just drifting from left to right instead of all the way for the half. Okay. Good morning, Europe. Great stuff. Great stuff. Well, that sets the tone for what’s to come. They’re here in day two of the Ryder Cup with to go first. Much easier p front left. 2A Ellie back for a sort of flag and three. It’s always nice to have the honor I think early on. Just try and try and find your game and set a marker. Quick player Oberg very much in between six and seven. I do believe this is six. line looks good. That’s okay. A lot of them missing this green yesterday when the pin was on the left. 222 lie actually quite flat stance. Should be looking up the right here. Not far away. It’s okay. A long way from the hole to go first here up the hill. Got the speed. Not quite. He’s not a simple chip. A good pitcher. Can he take a little bit of spin off? This is quite a spinny shot. Yeah, well done. Definitely settled in this group. Great swing there from Wberg. Yes, perfect result. So important to be that first guy off and force them to hit the fairway, right? put pressure on your opponent. Needs this running off the down slope. That’s advantage USA in two matches. Putting through the shadow maybe just inside right half. Three good moments for us on the road. is to not miss four short putts in a row for Europe in this group. This for a half and three left of center right about there. Soft draw turn in from the middle section. Beautiful posted finish to the swing. That’s stuck in the bank in the grass. Didn’t go back in the bunker. That’s going to be an awkward shot right there. He has to cuz he’s standing to Oberg at 10. A little bit down the hill left to right. this putt. You had to be defensive. That was a good putt from there. Bryson still out drove you. gone cold a little bit. The putter for birds. This would be a huge boost if they’re going to mount a challenge. Oh, just I’ve never that overhead shot we just got. I’ve never seen so many people on a green before. Meet all those people. A few extras to watch that miss. They stay three down. Oh, that’s short. That’s a lovely shot from over there at 12. Right over the top, I think. Europe have to match America shot by shot and just take their chances coming in. Yeah, he’s nice on great drive as well. Lie is good for Oberg. So, this ball will have some control. He’s got two options. Pitch it long and sort of just right of the flag and take that or try and run it through the the front fringe. I like long right. Certainly leaves the door open to tie the hole. He’s only from three foot. Never going to miss that, was he? He made it look easy. Yeah, he’s just they’re running out of holes. Going to have to have a special finish. in the hole. Back at 14 for Birdie. A much more fluid motion, but still powerful nevertheless for USA. Just in the right hand semi though back left though. A good angle to win the hole. Ball and a half outside right. Very makeable this. The read is pretty clear downhill. The pace is built in. Oh, what a fantastic P. Great effort. Oh, Dambo is doing a bit of cheerleading again. Tough to get this in close. Need a three. He’s just left another one of those awkward pitches. We’ve seen about four or five of those today. This is not looking good for you. He’s, you know, he’s missed some shots, which everyone does, but his ball goes into the worst possible place every single time. Confirmed there. Bryson Dashambo and the rookie Cameron Young take the first match out there today. 4 and two over Matt Fitzpatrick. And look big Oberg. We go to Oberg here for birdie and to win the second hole. Going going buried up he goes. over Patrick Kentlay. Little higher shot than what Kantlay played. And what a response is. Good. Good. Let’s go to seven. Yep. Patrick Kentley, we’re hearing is in for par. Hold down there in a thick rough. Bit of a goal there from the fairway at 15. Two up on camp. It’s right on line. Great shot from Kante. Great shot from Oberg. Oberg two up. This at 15. Ludvig gobber has this to win and go three up on Patrick Kantlay. No, the reply from the suede. High. Wow, this looks good. Just looking for the right distance. Good shot right there below the hole. It’s two up. This is to win the match for Oberg. No. He’s two up. Captain with a little tester left from the half. The only match that Europe are up in is this one. Ludvik Olbear at 17. That’s a little left. on the correct plateau though to Ludvig Goldber at 17. Left to right all the way to win the match. Surely just nudging this one down. Yeah, well done. Well played by him. And a much needed point for the Europeans. So they move 138 ahead. They need just one more point to retain one and a half to win knife edge. To watch another RDER Cup video, click here and subscribe here.

  1. Great swing! Could the drunk American fans be any more obnoxious? Cheering when he misses a putt is alright but yelling 4 every drive?
