Trump’s Granddaughter Makes LPGA Debut

Kai Trump, eldest granddaughter of President Trump, made her LBGA debut yesterday at the Anika in Bair, Florida. The 18-year-old amateur played on a sponsor’s exemption and posted a 13 over par 83, the highest score of the day, placing her at the bottom of a field packed with top talent. Kai Trump opened with four straight bogeies before a par at the par 514th. She went on to mix two bogeies with a pair of pars over her next four holes that included an impressive up and down to save par at the 16th. The appearance comes one day after the University of Miami announced she has committed to play for the Hurricanes starting in the 2026 2027 season.
