How to Hit Off of DownHill Lie Golf Shot!

not every line the golf course is perfectly flat you’re going to get uphill you’re going to get downhill ball above your feet ball below your feet today i want to show you how to navigate a situation when you’re hitting off a downhill lie so two things i want you to do number one is i want you to move the ball back in your stance slightly so i’m going to play this ball literally more off the buttons of my shirt so that’s back a little bit from where i would normally have it the second thing i want you to do is take your lead foot which for me is my left foot and i’m going to point it so it’s more down the slope line so this might be normal square i’m going to point it down the slope line what that’s going to allow me to do is bend my lead knee a little bit so i can swing a little bit more down the slope so let me go ahead and hit it i got the ball back lead foot pointed down the slope i lean into it a little bit swing along the slope line that right there is how you navigate it when you’re hitting off a downhill lie

  1. Thanks bub for the tip, I'm definitely going to practice this, yesterday on a par 5 I hit a bomb 260yd drive, then a strategic 7 wood Lay up to 45 yds sandwedge but a downhill lie sent me into the swamp, and got me double bogey, I needed this tip.
