BEST Home Golf Simulator Add Ever? NEW TruGolf Multisport 2.0 Review!

Today I get to show you the all-new True Golf Multisport 2.0 interactive sports simulator. And let me tell you, a lot has changed since we first covered this system a little over a year ago. The unit that used to be about this long with two cameras has shrunk to about half the size with only one camera. All new electronics, all new operating system. They’ve even re-released all of the games with updates, enhanced graphics, all kinds of changes we’re going to talk about today. So, make sure you stay tuned for this whole video. I appreciate you guys watching. If you’re looking to buy this unit, build a golf simulator, any type of accessory at all. Make sure you shoot me an email. I’ll pin it to the top of the comments and put it in the description as always. But this video is going to be a lot of fun. Let’s first talk about the update itself. Well, first of all, the unit is a standalone unit, which is really great. So you can, you know, be aside from a golf simulator and just put it up in a normal enclosure and just have a sports simulator. Or if you have a home golf simulator or a commercial golf simulator, you could simply add it like I did here to my Carl’s Pro enclosure. Now this enclosure, if you haven’t seen that video, you should check it out. 15 1/2 ft wide, 15 deep, 10 ft tall. I mean, this is ideal for a sports simulator, let me tell you. And the best part about it is with Carl’s new system, I was able to just add a crossbar and mount the True Golf Multisport 2.0, especially being as small as it is now. I mean, I mounted it in minutes. It was so easy. Um, and I can link what I use to mount it to the Crossbar if you guys want down in the description. I’ll put all kinds of links to, you know, down in the description and discount codes and things for you guys. You can always email me as well. But the unit sits about 8 to 10 feet from the screen. That’s the recommended distance. eight to 10 feet high and basically your T position is just behind the unit. And then if you’re going to be used their shooting uh games, which I will demonstrate today, I actually have one of their new shotgun systems, which is really cool with haptic feedback. You basically stand about here, which is perfect for my setup as well. So, I think you guys will be able to see all of that that perfectly. But the you know, with 14 games, that’s actually standalone games. 29 games with all the games that are inside of each of those games and they’re promised to bring a lot more games to the table along with better graphics. You can see that they’re dedicated to this and it’s a great experience and a lot of fun. So, let’s just go ahead and dive in and I’ll talk about things along the way because I’m sure you guys want to see this, you know, in action. What’s cool is is I’m in the True Golf Launcher software. We do have to point this out. So, if you have a golf simulator, this is where you would launch E6 Connect or E6 Apex or work on aid if you’re calibrating your Apogee. But you also can access all of these multisport games right inside of there. So, whether you’re at home or a commercial facility, you know that it’s really a simple UI and even the calibration tool is right inside of here, which is easier than ever. With one camera, it basically sees the floor, sees the screen. I mean, you just kind of click on, you know, the size of your screen and the floor. I mean, it it takes minutes if not you could do it in seconds potentially. It’s it’s that easy. Um, so let’s go ahead and get started. I’m just going to go ahead and start with I think the hunting game because here’s the deal. This Wilderness Hunter is new and I just think that this is a lot of fun. So, this is an allnew shotgun system that they have with haptic feedback. So, it even has like, you know, active reload that you can use. Um, it’s a camera system. So, the reason that you want to stand in your optimal area is you want the camera to be able to see the whole screen. So, notice how it’s asleep. I’m just going to hit my uh trigger, you know, once or twice, and then it’s going to wake up. And then you can see now it’s wake and I’m good to go. So, from that point forward, you’re ready to go. You can go into settings, leaderboard, awards, or exit game, and it’s all controlled right from the gun itself, which is really cool. So, let’s go ahead and go to play. I’m going to play ski shoot easy. Um, and I know you’re saying, “Well, why are you playing easy?” Well, because the uh skates themselves, the clay uh is actually bigger. So, those clay pieces you’re going to be able to see easier, I think. Um, you know, versus the hard, which is, let me tell you, it’s really hard. We’ll see how I can do here. Um, so they’re going to fire off. Everything is right inside of here. Um, graphics are nice and it feels like the movement of what the clay shots would be. Um, you’ll see when they come out. So, it’s auto pull. They’re going to fire off and just lead it off just like you would in real life. Actually got my first one. I’m I’m I’m impressed. I hope you guys can hear the volume, too. I turned it up a little bit because I wanted you to be able to uh know that there is three in a row. There is uh really good sound effects. I’m just using my projector uh you know, built-in speaker. You could have your own speaker, but this Epson, if you, you know, I did a review on that Epson 7,000 lumen projector. Um, check out that review as well and check out the first video I did on the True Golf multisport system because I do go over like every single sport piece individually as we’re unboxing it. I didn’t think it was necessary for this one cuz it’s an update. Did I just get 100%. I mean, I’m on easy. I know. I know. But like, isn’t I mean, this is great. I mean, I just feel like it’s a really good experience. You can close your eye because that’s actually how you calibrate. Um, or you can just do two eyes open kind of like I am right now. Lead that off. I mean, look how well it tracks where I’m aiming. I think that’s one of the most impressive things is the accuracy of the gun. See, I missed one. It was only a matter of time. Um, but that should show enough for you guys. Um, because I do want to get through a lot of games today. So, I’m just going to go ahead and go to exit game. And we we covered a lot of games in that first video, but I didn’t cover them all. Um, including that game right there. And especially the the new shotgun, which is sliding and and falling. Of course, I should put it this way with the butt down. And it’s not going to go anywhere. So, oh, you know, that’s when I do live videos and I don’t edit them or anything. Things like that happen. Now, I showed hoops and I think I showed cornhole, but I’ll just be honest with you. Um, showing game, you know, to kids and, you know, adults and everyone that have seen the setup that I already had, uh, cornhole is like a favorite. So, I just feel like for people that might not watch the first video I did, they’re going to want to see cornhole, you know? So, I’m going to go ahead and do it. Now, I am using my Touchscreen Guru 43 in touchscreen monitor. I I mean, what a amazing experience overall, whether it’s a golf simulator or it’s a sports simulator. Um, I’ll put a link and a discount code to that too down in the description. Um, all those help support the channel, which I appreciate, but they’re all just good people. You know, that’s why I work with with different people. I mean, True Golf is obviously dedicated, um, you know, to multisport and, you know, I’ve talked to these guys significantly and, you know, you can tell they have passion for it. They want this to be better and better. So, they listen to feedback. A. Oh, it was it was long enough. I was a little worried it was short at first. I want you to pay attention to the uh actual physics of the bags, the way that they land on the board. That one’s a little higher. Notice how you go higher and softer. It arcs up and then goes lower. So, it’s a balance of Look, look how high I went with that one. Oh, man. Went way too high. Got to work on my my bag skills a little bit. I’m talking too much and not uh that should be decent. Look at that. All right, I redeemed myself. Um, this is just an awesome game. Not just because who doesn’t know cornhole, I call it bags, cornhole, whatever. Um, but, uh, I think that the physics, the way that those bags react on the board and you can knock off other bags. Um, if it’s left, it goes left. I mean, watch all this accidentally. Whoa, I went right and low, you know, and it takes off right and low. Um, but if you’re going at it, you can go low, you can go high to the left on that one, though. Oh, I got lucky. I got lucky. I mean, it’s just just awesome overall. It it really is. So, another fun game and I’m going to show you guys a lot of stuff today. So, I mean, uh, ones that I haven’t been able to show, which is, you know, the whole point. So, all right, let’s get out of here and let’s exit game. Exit game. And I want to show you guys I will show you I don’t know if I if I showed pitching or not. I will go into pitching really quick um because it’s probably popular. But I’m going to show bowling. Uh I have to show disc golf. I’ll probably show soccer maybe because there’s so many people like soccer is such a popular sport. Um but let’s just go into strike zone. That one’s pretty cool. We’ll go to next. And I’m not a baseball player by any means. actually think that I might have somehow been put as in as a pitcher when I was a kid and I don’t think I had any business being there but uh so I’ve thrown a baseball before at least it’s ready as you can see in the indicator down there. Always pay attention to make sure whatever game is ready. So we’re just going to throw it right in the middle and it hits and locks right where the ball hits. I mean don’t get me wrong and during calibration that’s one of the things you do. You throw a ball and you know you if it’s off at all because of your environment. That was a little bit right. You would just click where it hit and then it is perfectly calibrated. But like watch how Oh, I It wasn’t ready. See, I told you to wait till it’s ready. That was perfect throw. Ah, left. Left and low. Left and low. See how I’m standing right behind the unit? That’s your T position. So, not ready. That’s what happened last time. Um, well, game finished. That wasn’t the best, guys. That was not the best. Um, we’re not going to put that. I want to do it one more time for you just because I was talking so much and I want you to have a good demonstration of it. I didn’t realize it was that short when you’re just doing the um the short pitching. So, let’s do right right in the A. Of course, I go high now. Wait for it when it says not ready. Told you I wasn’t a pitcher. That was pretty good. I got the mitt. Got the mitt. Not bad. Not ready. Ready? Oh, snuck it in there. I snuck it in there. I mean, I just find this stuff fun. I think it could be fun for adults, for kids. How about just practicing your sport of choice during the off season, you know, uh kids that are in school, you know, they could live in bad climates, it could be raining outside, and they just want to make the motion of the sport. And I mean, straight up, this is a great way to do it. Um, so look at this field goal. You don’t even want to see me kick a football. Uh, actually having fun with it the other night, testing it out. Um, Wild West, I showed that one. Baseball, you can do that with a bat or a hockey stick. I will probably do those individually because I want to set up my little hockey kind of like ice thing that I have. And uh, we’ll do some slapshot. We will show uh, soccer and disc golf without making this a marathon for you guys. Um, because soccer is just such a popular sport. Um, of course I’m not a soccer player, but you could put a piece of tape on the ground if you wanted to and that could be where center is and where kind of behind the unit is, but you really don’t have to. If you’re just in the range, I mean, you could put the ball over here if you want to. It’s just going to have it taking off from that direction. So, sometimes if like if I was throwing a bag, I might throw uh rounds five turn rules goalie. That’s fine. Um, oh, medium is is not that easy on this. I’ve tried it, but you really want it kind of taken off from where you know you expect it to from the middle, but it’s up to you. So, I’m gonna I’m gonna kick this one right. [Music] How about that? I can never score on this guy. I actually lifted the ball up a little bit and got it off the post. I mean, watch if you go right at him. Yeah. Not not not a chance. And that was left. Obviously, I don’t kick with the side of my foot like you’re supposed to. Um, I always get yelled at for that just because uh, you know, I have bad knees from a lot of sports and I just don’t think it’s it’s good on my knees, but it helps me lift up kicking with my toe. Oh, he got that. Got that. That’s actually feedback I was going to uh give them. So, he stopped that, but the ball kind of rolled in a little bit. Um, so I I think that they do need to update and that’s a simple update, too. But, uh, if he stops it, it should stay in front of him. But this is just a lot of fun. How about that one, buddy? Oh, man. And see, that’s one other one of those physics things I think they probably have to uh point out because that one once again just kind of landed behind. See if I can get another one in the corner. Corner kick. Ah, man. I lifted that one up, too. So, this is a lot of fun. I mean, a lot of fun. I think soccer is just a popular game overall. Um, you want to hit it straight, little left, of course. Told you he’s good. you got to really kick it. But I think they do need the feedback on the soccer ball kind of going behind him because you think it goes in and it doesn’t. So, some good feedback for him. All right, let’s get out of here and let’s go quit game. Wait until you see uh disc golf. Frisbee disc golf. I want to show bowling, too. I forgot about that. So, of course, we’re going through a million things here. Um, this is one where I was wondering how it would be, you know, because I was like, there’s just no way I can see a Frisbee. Um, especially the angle and everything. And so, I was throwing like these different shots, testing it out in my opinion. I mean, it’s great. It It’s a lot of fun. So, let’s go ahead and just any key to start. One player. I mean, nine holes, doesn’t matter. Standard, you can play destruction mode if you want. Shady Oaks, Granite Falls, White Sands. We’ll just go to the standard one. Uh, difficulty, easy, medium. Easy provides 80% boost on long shots. Medium provides 40% boost. And let me tell you, I mean, I’m not a Frisbee player or disc golf player, whatever. Um, I medium is not the easiest in the world, so it should give me a little boost. But, so 214 yards right behind my unit. Now, notice how I went on an angle to the left and it went on an angle to the left the way that the uh it took off. So, let’s say that someone comes in, they don’t know what they’re doing, and they’re going to kind of dive this way. Look how it takes off. I just think that’s fantastic that it can read the angle of the Frisbee. The key is if you’re going to buy your own stuff, you don’t have to buy the package of stuff. I think it’s a couple hundred bucks, like $200 if you want all the stuff. And then the shotgun on its own is like 250, which honestly I recommend. The haptics and everything is really cool, but the color is important. So, yellow allows it to have best view in a dark environment. Um, and you can see this is working really well in my dark environment. I have a little light on me just for the camera, but this is pretty dark overall. Just decent, you know, uh, T area lighting that that’s nothing special at all. So, uh, 61 yards. Can I actually get the distance right? Oh. Oh, it’s a birdie though. It’s okay. So, it you don’t have to hit in the basket. Um, as long as you get within the ring. I got a birdie. I’ve never I swear I’ve never had a birdie on this game. Um, played it several times. It’s really tough. So, I got lucky on the video. Go figure. All right. So, let’s get out of here. Hit my little disc golf down here. quit game back and then I want to show bowling and and you know dodgeball’s had an update too that’s pretty cool. Um the kids love dodgeball. Uh it it is only getting better the way that they’re adding games inside of games. Like I said 14 total interactive games standalone and then I think it’s 39 games with all of that those games that are inside of each. All right. So, it doesn’t have to be this zombie dodgeball. It can be another type of dodgeball. Um, so one player, three frames. Uh, knowing me, I probably need bumpers. All right. So, I’m just going to stand back here. I’m behind the unit, and I’m just going to roll the ball just like I would in bowling. And I’m going to get a strike. This is probably more my type of sport, right? Just bowling where I’m just rolling the ball straight down. So, I do want to give you guys a demonstration. That was a pretty good roll. Let’s say I go a little bit left on it. I’m on the left side. Still gave me a strike. Got lucky where where I hit it. The other day I rolled one perfectly down the middle and it didn’t give me the strike because when you hit that front pin, it’s usually not a strike, you know. Let’s go a little bit further left. Oh no, what did I do? It’s going to take off and go in the bunker or the uh gutter. It really is fantastic how well this works. Um, and I think that these are the type of things that, you know, you get a family in here, you know, competing with each other. You get kids in here, whatever it may be. I mean, I can see commercial facilities. Um, and notice how you have options. You could have a subfloor where your your hitting mat is inside of that or a lot of people asked me when I did the first Carl’s Pro enclosure uh video. You got to check that video out where I built this whole thing. Um, they were like, “Why did you just put your hitting mat on top?” Well, because I had a plan for this video. That’s why. And look how nice it is. So, see if I can get one more strike. I’m going to try to go actually right down the middle. And if I hit it dead center, I don’t think it’s a strike. Oh, no. That was bad. That was really bad. I had it bouncing. You notice it was bouncing. It’s like landed and bounced, right? Well, what are you going to do? You know, couple strikes in there. It’s not bad. And then uh we’ll quit. What I’m going to do is I will make sure that I do some individual games for you guys. Um that way you can see them all because it’s it’s a lot of fun. I mean, there’s just so many inside of here. Um and like I said, so this unit is a $4,500 unit. Um I find that very competitively priced, the fact that it’s a standalone unit and it’s a uh perpetual license, I guess, is what I would call it. Because if a new game comes out, you’re going to get that game. They’ve committed to that. If an update comes out, they’re going to give you the update and they’re committed to coming out with more games, improving graphics, listening to feedback. I’m going to share them that soccer feedback. Um, and they’ll address it. I mean, they’re they’re very responsive and they’re dedicated to multisport.
