Do you have no idea what to get the golfer in your life as a gift? Are you a golfer who has no idea what to ask for as a gift? Well, this video is for both of you. These are my 10 best… picks for the best golf gifts. We’re going to start with the cheapest worker way up to the most expensive. and hopefully find you that perfect gift for yourself. or for that special person in your life. Let’s do it. All right, number 10, North Coast Golf Gloves. These are going to retail for about $28. You can often find them on sale for less, but the reason I like North Coast… aside from the fact they’re just super high quality, high performing golf clubs, is the fact they’re just a little bit different. It’s not that, like, standard titles or foot joy you are going to find at every single golf pro shop. their designs are slightly more unique. They have a little bit more personality. The people behind the brand are great. And globes are one of those things that every golfer needs, but they rarely put much thought into it. So to have something that’s a little bit different than everyone else, has a little bit more style and performs wonderfully on the course. I think that is a great, thoughtful gift. Hey, one real quick thing I want to note is I also have a written version of this post, except instead of having 10 items, it has over 60. And so, for whatever reason, if these 10 picks aren’t quite the right fit, go check out the written version, because there is definitely going to be something there that is going to fit the bill. And along with that, if you’re looking for something small and inexpensive, I also have a list of my 20 favorite golf stocking suppers that I will list below. Okay, no more wasting time. Back to the video. Next up on our list, we have a box of titleless Pro V ones. This is not something that should really need an explanation. I don’t care what golfer you are. You can’t hate on Pro V ones. They are the best golf ball in the world for a reason. Yes, there are other brands and models that perform similarly for a lot less money. But when it comes to prestige, and that thing you want as a gift, everybody loves probie ones. Even if you’re a crappy golfer. You’re still like, oh, probie ones. When you’re like out on the course and you’re like searching through the woods, looking for lost balls, and you come across a provi one, it feels like you’ve hit the Holy Grail. And so when it comes to golf balls, if you’re going to give someone a gift, give them the holy grail of golf balls. Just give them a box of Pro V ones. Even if the golfer in your life is not very good and the probie one is not the right ball for them, they will still be very excited about this gift. Up next, we have a Seamus Golf head cover. About a decade ago, Seamus completely reinvented the world of the Gulf accessory. When it comes to a golf gift, I feel like there are very few other brands that just hit like Seamus does. So whether you get them a head cover, or you get them a ball marker, you get them a bottle opener. Everything Seamus does, just like, oozes class. And so with so many different items to choose from, so many different styles of head covers to choose from, You were absolutely going to find something that fits the style of the golfer you were looking for. And it’s something that they’re likely to have for many years, which just makes it such a special gift. As an example, I gave my dad and my father in law a set of Seamus head covers on my wedding day. So it’s something that’s unique, meaningful, looks good, and serves a purpose. All right, next up is the first tech item on our list, and that is the Blue Teas Player Plus speaker. This is my personal favorite Bluetooth speaker. I will say, I’ve not tested the new Bushnell Wingman HD, so just take that into account, but I have absolutely loved the player plus. The speaker is very loud and sounds great. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid. The magnet audit is very strong. So it sticks to a golf cart with no problem. And it even has a built-in screen, which will give you GPS yardages two points throughout the course. You can typically find pretty good sales on this. You can also use the coupon code breaking 8010 with 80 all spelled out, which is going to knock another 10% off. But when I am going out, and I’m on a golf cart, and I’m just having fun with friends, and I want to play music, this is the speaker that I’ve been turning to. Okay, next on our list, we have the Jones Players series Golf Bag. Now, I want to explain something. So there were all sorts of golf bags that I could have put on this list. But generally speaking, I feel like a golf bag is kind of a personalized thing. So, the golfer in your life. If they’re serious about golf. There’s a good chance they probably want to pick out their primary bag on their own. They’re going to have a style, they’re going to have preferences on where things go, so that’s just kind of a personal item. That’s why I suggest the Jones player series. This is kind of a secondary golf bag. It’s a single strap bag. It looks like it came straight out of the 1960s. This is the perfect bag for that, like, late afternoon, nine hole round where you take, like, five or six clubs, a beer, and just go have a good time. There’s no stand on it. You just set it down on the ground, like all of your golf ancestors did, and these bags look so good. They retail at $195, so it’s not super cheap, but also for the quality of the bag and how cool these things look. It also isn’t wildly expensive, either. So this is one of those things that your significant other, the golfer you’re buying this for. They may not expect it, but once they get it and use it, I think it’s something that’s really special that they’re going to end up using more than they think they will. And for our next item, we have the voice caddy TL1 Rangefinders. There’s a good chance the golfer in your life has asked for a golf rangefinder. If you’re watching this and you don’t know what that is, it’s the little device that locks onto the flag and it tells you exactly how far it is away. The reason I recommend the voice caddy TL1 is, for most people, I just think this is the best bang for your buck. When it came out a few years ago, it retailed for 450 bucks. If you click the link below, you can pick it up for $279. For that price, you are getting incredible optics. You are getting a dual color OLED screen. You’re getting something that is wildly fast and accurate. It’s not adding on a whole bunch of extra, like, smart GPS features or all of these extra things you don’t need. But it works much more reliably and more accurately than some that are less expensive. So there are certainly less expensive models I can recommend. There are certainly more expensive models, I can recommend. But something I rarely do in my reviews is say, yeah, this is the best one. Just go buy this. But that is the case here. For 85% of the people, unless you’re looking for some niche feature that this doesn’t have, this is going to be the best rangefinder for most people. So if you’re watching this, and the golfer in your life asks for a rangefinder, this is the one I would go out and get. You can tell them I sent you, and if they have a problem with it, then they can come leave a comment and yell at me. Okay, we are slowly moving up in price, and for this next one, I’m gonna go with a Garmin watch. This season alone, I have already given two Garmin watches as gifts. These are great for the person who’s health conscious. They’re trying to be mindful of their fitness, and they want something that’s going to be able to track it. Or for the golfer that just wants GPS distances, they can get that as well. Notice how I’m not saying a specific watch, because every person’s needs and budgets are different. If your golfer is basic, all they want is to be able to keep score and get some basic yardages, just go get them the Garmin S 12. This is their cheapest model. It retails for $199 and is going to do a great job. If they want a golf watch that is, like, the best of the best that has all of the best golf features, go get them the S 70. And if golf is only part of what they do, if they are also very active, they go to the gym a lot, maybe they ski, they hike, they want something that’s going to cover the full gamut of physical activities, then I would consider the venue X1 or the Phoenix 8. depending on what their personal style and needs are. I just recently did a video comparing all of the Garmin Golf watches, so if you’re not sure which one is right, I will link to that below, so you can go check it out. So even though this is a little bit more of an expensive gift for the person that doesn’t want an Apple Watch, and they do want to take their health and fitness seriously, I think this is an excellent gift. All right, next, we have the only actual golf club on this list, and that is a lab putter. So for the past two years, lab has been all the rage. There’s not a single golf brand that is more hyped than lab. So more than a new driver, more than a new set of irons, if there is one club that someone’s going to open up on Christmas morning and be like, Ho, ho, man, it’s going to be a lab putter. The downside here is that in order to get the most out of this putter, you are probably going to want to get it custom fit. That being said, I personally have three lab putters that are right off the rack, totally stock, and all three of them have been very, very good. So whether you give them a gift certificate for a fitting in a putter, Or whether you wrap up that putter and give it to them. A lab putter is likely to be the golf club they are going to be most excited about. As you might expect, considering lab as such a hyped golf product, it doesn’t come cheap. A stock lab is going to run you around $499, and if you want a custom one, it will get significantly more expensive than that. But can you really put a price on lower scores and made putts? Well, yeah, you can. $499. So if you’re looking to give a slightly splurgy golf club, a lab putter is where it’s at. Okay, we are down to our final two, maybe three. I might have a bonus one for you. And this is one that is unexpected, but is really cool, and that is a putter system, P U T T R. So if you’re looking for something really cool to surprise them that they may not know about, I think this system is where it’s at. So essentially, it’s a big metal box. You take the metal box, you put it on the floor, and out rolls an 11 foot putty mat. You then plug in the box, and you take an iPad. You’ll need an iPad or an iPhone in order to get the most out of this. And you connect the iPad to the box, and you put it on top of the box. And essentially, what this is is a putting system that allows you to do drills, play games, do tests, to improve your putting. So essentially, this is a big training tool to improve your putting. But it’s not just training. They’ve got games, they’ve got drills. They’ve got all sorts of stuff you can do to make practicing, putting fun, and very convenient. As you can set it up pretty much anywhere in your house that you have space. What’s cool is that there are cameras built into this. So as you putt, it will then show you on the screen of your iPad exactly where the ball is going. So it’ll show you if it goes into the hole. It’ll show you where it misses. It can then assess what your misses are and make recommendations for how to improve your putting. They even have games you can do with a friend, like horse. So you pick a spot, if you make it, they then have to make it as well, or they get a letter. You can play with friends in real time online, or in virtual tournaments. Like, the amount of stuff this system can do is really, really cool. And so if the golfer in your life is looking for a way to practice their putting, have fun. And be able to do it very easily and conveniently at home, I have been extremely impressed with this system. The downside to a putter system is that it retails for $699 plus shipping. So it’s definitely not cheap. This is definitely a little bit of a splurge gift, but I’m willing to bet the golfer in your life, especially if they are tech focused, is going to love it. And finally, the last recommendation is going to be for a launch monitor, and that is the Flight Scope Mibo Gen 2. This is my overall favorite launch monitor. I think you get the best bang for the buck in terms of features, accuracy. When you’re using it, the software makes it feel like a professional level launch monitor. This makes sense considering the flight scope x3c, which is their professional model and costs over 10 times as much as this does, it uses the same software. So the experience is very similar, and the accuracy is also very similar. You can use it both indoors, outdoors, you can take it to a range. It comes with free E6 software, so you can use it as a golf simulator. And the best feature of all, and one of the reasons why I think it makes such a good gift, is the fact there are zero subscription fees. So you pay once, and you never have to pay again, which is not the case for most golf launch monitors. The new Mibo Gen 2 currently retails for 1299. I’ve been told that might go up in the future. So if you’re watching this months from now, I’m sorry if it is more expensive, but it is 1299 right now, you can use the coupon code breaking 80 plus, which drops it down to $1,234. Obviously, that is not a cheap gift. That is a very expensive gift. But when it comes to value, when it comes to best bang for the buck, I think it’s worth spending a little bit more to get the features the Mivogen 2 has, But there are many other products that do very similar things that cost thousands of dollars more, so I feel like this is a pretty good sweet spot. So if you were looking for a launch monitor, This is the one that I would recommend. And just for fun, the last, like, splurge gift I’m going to recommend, this is specifically, if you’re looking for a gift for your partner, but also for you, I would go get an eight sleep system. It is absolutely my favorite thing that I have ever gotten. They are expensive. You can expect to spend around $3,000. But if you are looking to transform the quality of your sleep, I cannot recommend this thing enough. And so it’s a great way to give your significant other a gift while also you being able to benefit. Rather than waste more time on this video, I will link to my detailed review below, so if you’re interested in this, you can go check it out. But just know, if you’re someone who’s had some trouble sleeping and you’re looking to optimize the quality of your sleep, this has been the best way I have found to do it. So there you go. That is my list for the best golf gifts out there. There are so many other good ones, and I have put those in my written version below. Like I said, I’ve got over 60 recommendations for best golf gifts, so if these don’t do it for you, One of the ones in that list most certainly will. My name is Sean Ogle. I the founder of this thing here at Breaking 80. We talk about cool golf products and cool golf courses. If you got some value out of this, subscribe, thumbs up, drop a comment, do all of those things, and I can’t wait to see you on the next video. Peace.

  1. Like all these suggestions…. But I do not agree with dropping 50.00 just for Pro V1 balls. If you have a golfer in your life, getting him/her to talk about what balls they use is easy. Spend 50.00-60 00 getting them what they actually use. Yes, they will appreciate the Pro V1. But they will be giddy about getting multiple boxes of what they use or a box of the tour balls from another company that is their preference.

The Bluetooth speaker is another winner suggestion though.

  2. I love you honesty. I’m anxious to hear about wingman hd. I love the fact it doesn’t have subscription like the blue tees. I correct have a blue tees speaker currently but love what the wingman has to offer. Can’t wait to hear what you have to say about it.

  3. Just some advice on those small light bags – I always use one when going to the range, no balls needed except one or 2 for putting, 4-5 clubs and alignment sticks and a spare range finder….Why carry a full bag!

  4. Great stuff…but, disagree with the ProV1s….not sure what it is, they just feel so much heavier off my club than other balls…

  5. Not a fan of the narrative that the ProV1 is the best ball.
There is no one Best ball.
Different balls will perform better for different players at different points during their journey.
Try different balls and see which one fits you best.

  6. I would love if a divot tool that flips out didnt have a ball marker holder – I have coins I use that wont fit so i just want something more sleek. HAve not been able to find one

  7. I play 150+ rounds per year. I've found that most of the expensive golf equipment has nearly zero effect on my game or my golf experience. I'm very satisfied with kirkland signature golf gloves (4 gloves for less than $30) and the latest version of kirkland signature golf balls (2 dozen for less than $30.) My best golf purchase that I think would be a great gift for someone that plays golf in cold weather – rechargeable hand warmers. buy more than one… the batteries rarely last for a full 18 holes in weather that is colder than 50 degrees.
