Look into Ben Hogan’s Power 5 and look at the chapter about the grip. Yes. That is super strong. And it will either lead to big pushes or big hooks

OH yeah it is.
Quick old school grip training tip. Take a yard stick and grip it like a golf grip. You want the flat side in your palms and top edge between the v of your thumb and index finger of both hands. You can use 10 finger, interlocking, overlapping whatever you want. This would be an extremely neutral grip but will be way better than that overtly strong grip you have now.
If you are slicing the ball the strong grip isn’t the answer.
Secondary observation that ball position should be off your left instep, so your club has time to square up. Below is an example.
Unplayable grip IMHO. Well I guess you could play… not well idk how you control the club face. Get a grip trainer and use it at the range and use it on the course too

Right to strong left to weak my guess is a banana slice?

Here’s some advice… if you don’t follow some of the advice here, your current grip WILL give you an injury.

I knew your miss was a hook just by looking at your grip. That’s about as extreme as I’ve seen it

Buy a grip trainer off Amazon after holding it long enough subconsciously you’ll just start to hold it correctly

The V between your RH thumb and index should be pointing up your arm… Yours is pointing towards Honolulu.
