The key is to stay warm without restricting your swing. Vests are great, gloves between shots are a must.

If the course is open

I played golf in 37 degrees Celsius. I prefer that to this shit

Looks like my last day will be tomorrow or with a change in the weather on Tuesday

Perfect golf weather keeps all the slow players away

It was 80 here yesterday….

Heading out to walk a round now (Wisc). 40’s now but should break 50 in 1-2 hrs.

Going to try and play the day after thanksgiving usually any weather goes unless it’s raining. We call it the turkey classic. Looking like 40s with a wind chill below 30F.
maggos
Ive played where it was 30 degrees when I was doing my warm ups but it got to mid 30s by the time I teed off and low 40s for most of the round. I like golfing in warm weather but I think 45-50 degrees is perfect golf weather.

In November, no. But in February 30 feels like 50

Roll em out, roll em out…
Jacky_Black
I would, as long as its not pooring down I’m game!
Fuzzy-Economy9087
No snow, I go.

I’m a Fair weather golfer < 50 F – I’m out. Probably part of why I’m not very good 🙂
EvilMarlin24
I had to this morning (i’m in Europe).
JOmelius
No doubt!

Is this pease? And is your name a reference to Seinfeld when Kramer is swimming in the East River?

My temperature tolerance seems to increase by about 10° per decade. In my 20’s I would play at this temp; 30’s = 40° and now in my 40’s = 50°
Padres_Guy2765
Only play when the temp is above my age. 54

If the greens are thawed and they let us play I’m playing. Just need to dress for the weather. I will also go down to a lower compression ball in cold weather. Id rather hit marshmallows than rocks all day.

Back when I lived in Nebraska we’d play regardless of weather. The temp was irrelevant. Course open windy or not. We’re over par and under the influence
Cappedomnivore
🙋🏼♂️ so long as it’s not crazy windy or raining heavily I’m out there.
Ornery_Old_Dude
I have a firm 40 degree rule. If it’s at or below that, I’m not going out on the course.
Clamps55555
Is that the temp with wind chill? Looks fine to me.
bionicbhangra
Not I. I am ok with a small break from golf. I can just go to gym instead.

45 in Broomfield Colorado and the tee at Walnut Creek awaits!… to beat my ass.

This was just after a hailstorm blew through today, cold, wet, muddy, winter mats in play, but I’ll take what I can get
Yep put on some warm mitts to wear between shots and away you go
As an old guy living from Canada, 100%. You just need to get a cart cover and a little propane heater. I’d golf all year if they let me
Nah, I’m good.
Hard no.
Under 45° I’m out live in Maine and golf season is short. 30° we go skiing.
Below freezing is crazy to have a course open. The money they make will not pay for the damage caused
