The LPGA Tour’s season finale has arrived with the best players in the world competing for a huge purse at the CME Group Tour Championship.

A purse of $11 million is up for grabs at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida, with the winner taking home a cool $4 million. It promises to be a lucrative day for all 60 players involved, with a handsome $55,000 being awarded to the last-place finisher.

Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul, the world No. 1, is the reigning champion, and she is in the field once again to defend her title, with world No. 2 Nelly Korda also in the mix. The Tour Championship concludes a big couple of weeks for the LPGA Tour, which has recently announced a new TV deal and benefited from a spike in interest as Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump, made her debut last week.

The Race to the CME Globe title will also be decided on Sunday, but there is no additional prize money on offer for the LPGA Tour’s order of merit. The rankings effectively served as a qualifier for a high-stakes 60-woman showdown in Naples.

That means everything is to play for heading into Sunday’s final round, with enormous riches on offer to the players who finish the day at the top end of the leaderboard.

Korda, the LPGA Tour’s biggest star, was dominant in 2024, winning seven times. This year, she is yet to get her hands on silverware, and Sunday is her final chance to ensure 2025 is not a winless year.

“It’s definitely been an interesting year,” she said ahead of the tournament. “There has been good; there has been flashes of really good; there has been flashes of, ‘I don’t know what just happened.’

“But I would say overall that’s just kind of golf. Coming off last year, it’s kind of always going to be difficult to back that up. But this is my ninth year on the LPGA Tour and every year has been very, very different.

“But, yeah, it definitely sucks in a way that I didn’t get to raise a trophy, but I still have one more week to try to get that done.”

Be it Korda or someone else who gets their hands on the CME Group Tour Championship trophy on Sunday, they will make themselves a helluva lot richer. Here is a breakdown of the prize money on offer…
