The RSM Classic once again marks the final event of the PGA TOUR season, and once again, there is plenty on the line. It all comes down to this for golfers on the top 100 bubble in the FedExCup Fall Standings. Last year, two golfers were able to parlay their results at Sea Island into a jump up the standings with plenty more looking for the same this week. Joel Dahmen is in at No. 117 and looks to re-create some Sea Island magic like a year ago when he shot a final-round 64 to keep his card for 2025. There is more than a trophy on the line this week, for many in the field it is the ability to play on the TOUR next year that matters most. Others in the field include local Sea Island native and United States Ryder Cup Team member Harris English, as well as Michael Brennan, Sahith Theegala, and Luke Clanton

All right, this run from Eric Cole earlier today. We told you about the moves he has made. [Music] Birdie the first hole. He made a bogey at two, but then did this at third. Third playing 207 yds with a cross win. Not a hole you’re thinking about stomping it on, but uh that’s exactly what he did. What a bounce back for Sammy. Not a great start, but Eric Cole started four back today. He birdied one, three, four, and five. And here’s a long one at six. And he’s been doing it with this club right here to this point. He had made 70 ft of putts on the golf course. Hole location on 10 on the front left today. Much easier to access than it was the first two days. Pearson Cudy Cud’s got an opportunity to lock up his PGA Tour card two times in one season considering he’s already got it for next year from the Cornfree Tour. Then he had this birdie putt at the sixth. The other par three on the front side left it underneath the hole uphill into the wind. Exactly the kind of putt you want to have for birdie out here today. Straight birdies. He got to 17 under which was tied for the lead. Patrick Rogers a birdie and six. and Patrick suddenly finds himself with his share of the lead. Yep. Handles his business there at seven in the under the ground. You’re not allowed to move him. Valamaki at eight just continues to impress with his ball striking. as we go to Johnny Kefir at the eighth. Oh, okay. From long distance, it’s a must to make birdie. But with this wind now, birdies are hard to come by. Oh, I like the authority in which he hit that putt. That rattled the back of the cup. That’s how you putt in the wind. Yeah, actually a very good line as Johnson referenced a really good angle from the left hand side here. 69 yds to that hole location on the right hand side brings it in very high and landed. That nice and soft. Well done. I think that par back at seven is going to be huge for him. Zack Blair looks like he’s going to give us something special here at 14. Use that breeze. Nice high fade in there. Playing a shot here, BK. Yeah, I love it. 4500 today. Make it six. Confidently rolling that way. Walking it in. Sammy Falamaki. [Music] Oh. Oh. Took a peek. and he has the lead all to himself now at 18 under par. Coming off that T3 finish last week in Bermuda riding the hot hand. That’s a good two there at 12. That’s four consecutive birdies now for Max. Now Rogers does have a good stance. Yeah, just avoided that bunker on the left. Ball on the way there from 151 yds. Oh. Oh, look at that. Oh, what a shot. It took a look at it from back here. Yes, it did. Talked about Zack Blair has a chance to get to 17 under now. Walked one in on the last. Oh, wow. Is he confident with his putting seven under on the day as we go to Zack Blair’s raced all the way up to 17 under now. Another good opportunity to attack the 16th. Playing really short downwind. Layer after layer. Not this week. Here’s Lee Hodgeges. Missed the green. Pitch to here. It’s for par 13. That is a huge save. Remember that if Lee Hodes goes on to put himself into contention tomorrow. That was a massive save. He loves to move it from right to left. An awkward hole location for him. Not bothered at all, Rob. Not bothered. It’s Don’t mind playing out of the rough in a crosswind like this can sometimes take the spin off of it and make it curve a little less. John knocking it in there close. Especially from the right hand side of the fair. He’s predominantly going right back into the teeth of the wind. [Music] Maybe played a little bit too much, but getting some assistance from that back stop. Yeah, it’s going to turn out nicely. [Music] Yep, he’ll be pleased with that one. There’s only one way to really get this ball close. Send it out to the right. Try to shape it in high from right to left. And that is a small section in that back left portion to fit it. He’s trying to and he’s done it. Yes, he has. Billy R. That’s a good shot. Head up to 14 and Eric Cole that sandy area go way up there off the T. Just a little wedge and all right. Oh, and he does. Nice shot. Good looking at birdie for Eric. Can he get this pit shot right? And a lot of players just buy this whole location. And that’s very nicely done. Life’s equivalent of some uh sound blocking headphones maybe. Oh, we see we’ve finally seen one. It took Ricky Castillo to get a ball to the hole over there at the final hole. Gap wedge and hit it, but like I said, back into the wind. Can carry it all the way there. Got a face full of sand, too. Yeah, he did. That didn’t taste good. Oh, well done. Just about gathered. Yeah. Is this too close on this down slope? Control your spin. Oh, that is perfect. What a shot. made that look much easier than it was. Yes, he did. Very useful in his position. Bjönson just cleaning up for his birdie. So doing exactly what he needed to do at the par five previous hole end here at the short 16th. Two in a row. Yeah. Okay. And sometimes when you win golf tournaments, you generally have a bad day. out of contact a little bit left of the flag. Oh yeah, he’ll take that from that position for sure. [Music] All right, we’ll take that. Just 146 here. Looking right down the barrel of the flag stick. Really good line here if the number’s correct. Oh yeah, really good from Patrick. A good look. This we get to red figures for the round and get to 77 under par here. Slow up the hill. And he’s played his way out of that final group. It’ll be interesting though. Learned a lot from the putt of Novak. [Applause] No. Come on, Billy Ray. That did everything but go in. I’m telling you, Andrew Novak’s putt dove left at the end and that ball stayed right there. Been an impressive round for him though. Just the one bogey to go with three birdies, two under par. all the way across. It’ll be another final round. Final group pairing for Patrick Rogers. It wasn’t quite hindered Novak’s day, but he is within striking distance. Thanks for watching the PJ tour. To watch more, click here. To subscribe, click here.
