In a thriller that went down to the final seconds, Valencia Basket grabbed its fourth consecutive home victory by downing Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade 76-73 at Roig Arena in Round 12 on Friday. Valencia improved to 7-5 in the standings while Zvezda dropped to 8-4. It all came down to the final 2.3 seconds, in which Matt Costello split free throws to fix the final score. In the game’s final offense, Codi Miller-McIntyre could not get a shot up before the final buzzer.

Brancou Badio paced the winners with 16 points. Kameron Taylor added 12 while Jean Montero had 10 for Valencia, which finished the game with a season-high 13 steals. Miller-McIntyre led Zvezda with 23 points and eight rebounds. Jordan Nwora added 14 in his EuroLeague return after missing five games due to injury.
