This is brutal. I feel for this poor dude. Hope he does well on Kornferry and finds his way back.

The emotions, god this hurts. Cheering for Justin
unsolved49
Raw emotion here. Justin has a great story and should be one of the guys every golf fan roots for.

More than most dont even make it to the tour. Keep your head up

Me after the last round, damn near every year

To see real emotion like this is incredible. Wish you nothing but the best for all your future endeavour’s.

Team sports make the blaming way easier.

Imagine being this incredible at golf and still not being good enough to stay on the tour. Must be crushing. PGA needs to cover the cut line way more
hidey_ho_nedflanders
Brutal, and especially with recent changes such as reducing Monday qualifiers and shrinking the tournament field, it’ll make it harder for the journeymen-type players to play on Tour frequently
kale4reals
Damn that hurts. He mustve been putting a lot of pressure on himself all year, understandably.

Remember when Joel dahmen said “someone has to be the 80th best golfer in the world”? Well that was when (I believe? Someone correct me.) there were 150 promised cards. Now there’s only 100. So more guys like these are gonna be cut out soon and forced to play on other tours as more young talent comes out.
He’s right about it being a brutal game. Especially at his level.

No idea who this dude is or if he can go to the Korn Ferry, but if he comes to the KF event in my town in June, I’ll be cheering him on. Come on, Justin!
Kidsornottokids
He made $6m on tour. Not too shabby
Substantial_Diver_34
Justin is my new favorite player.

The other side of competition. That is rough, gotta feel for the dude. I’m sure he’ll bounce back

That’s the thing that’s unique about golf compared to team sports. Success and failure falls on an individual’s shoulders. There’s nowhere to hide.
You feel so bad for somebody like Justin but you know he like so many others in his position will keep grinding and try and find his way back.
I so totally appreciate the guys who are right at the cut line each week because you know how tough it can be when you’re fighting to keep your card.
Whatever we mere mortals feel on the golf course isn’t even one percent of what these guys go through. So much respect.

I’ve volunteered as a standard bearer at the Wyndham Championship for a ton of years. Before this new FedEx Cup Fall Series, the Wyndham was where guys were battling to keep their cards. I always work on Thursdays and Fridays because the tension around making a cut is just incredible drama.
One Friday, a guy in my group needed to make the cut to keep his card. His putt on 18 lipped out and he missed the cut by one.
He just collapsed into his wife’s arms off the green and over the sobbing I heard him say, “I just can’t do this. I can’t do it” over and over again.
It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch this guy’s dream die right in front of you.

The other players were obviously just in lower

If anyone cares, Justin Lower cried like this in a post round presser in 2022. He battled back, made the tour again in 2024, had his best year (made over 2 mill), and made another million this year.
So ya dude is a fighter that I guess just wears his heart on his sleeve. I legit thought this was the same video from 2022, but then realized he was wearing a different hat. lol

Take a moment then back to the grind. Let this light a fire under you like you never had before. Good luck, brother.
