This Mini Golf Course Totally Surprised Us!

Hey everybody. Today we’re checking out Adventure Falls mini golf outside Chicago, Illinois. Y’all know the drill. Team Alicia, team Brooks. Let’s have some fun. I like the little shapes for obstacles. That is very different. It’s like a really cute course. Be a good time. Turf looks brand new. Parkour. I’ll roll. I’ll try. I didn’t know how hard to hit. This carpet looks brand new. I got a really long club. For how thick it is, it rolls way faster. Is this actually Oh, no. That I guess you can move those around. That’s fun. We won’t do it. We’ll leave them where they are. That’s a fun touch. Well, dang. You can even tell it’s newer by the hole. Yeah. Like it doesn’t even look like it’s got any like anywhere to it at all. From what this just opened as I’m filming this like three weeks ago for the season, I think that’s attached to the park and I think it used to be independent and the park bought it and I think they redid it. So that’s probably part of that. And it was five bucks a person. Oh, that was close. Hey, first hole warming up. That’s what it is. is and like even the river and stuff like everything is super clean. I think for the fact that there are ah it’s a cicada. Oh, it’s gone. Okay, you’re good. You’re good. Feels like been a nuisance here. Whoever put those there is very mean. And there’s no way I can hit my ball hard enough to get through it. So, I’m going have to just lay it up. I thought I was going to go on the rocks. Yeah, that’s a very clever way to make the course more difficult and then you can move it. Well, oh, I wasn’t aiming for that rock. Hey, but it worked. I thought you were trying to like bounce off of it somehow and go to the hole. No, nice bounce. All right, that was really good. Look at them kicks, girl. You’ll golf bit today. Thank you. Get on point. I got these a from uh the Nike outlet. Like these are usually like $160. I got them for 72. Look at you bargain shopping. Yeah, girl. Yeah. I didn’t realize they were Jordans when I got You just vibing with it. We’re getting it there. We’re not getting it there. Now we are. Like I didn’t even realize they were Jordans. I just thought they were cute shoes. They were shoes and they were cute. Mhm. That’s all it takes. We just traded. Yeah, we bounced off. We straight from the last hole. You can try to bounce off of it. I don’t know how it’s going to react since they’re not bolted down. We’ll find out together. Don’t you do it. Those cicas, man, they are annoying. That actually absorbed it really well. Yep. I thought it was going to move. Even the landscaping and everything. All the flowers is really pretty. Okay. Like spotless. It’s really nice. Okay. Go the way. The uh the plant was tickling my leg. Look at us finally getting tunes. Yeah, we did it. Thank you. I don’t know what happened to my voice. I was going to say I was just going to roll with it, but okay. I was trying to say here, but my voice cracked. Hey, this might have a little one potential. Hey, I thought it was honestly going to completely miss. That went right as soon as I hit it. I thought it was going to go away. I’m going to pull it back cuz it moved when you hit it. Yeah. Yeah. So, it’s fair for both of us. That worked. Okay, we’ll make it a full on full on corner. There we go. Other side. Oh, it flipped it. I don’t want to talk about it. That’s off my ball. The cups are really shallow. Nothing. No. Moving on. Mhm. Okay. Hey, there’s no obstacles on this one. That might help. It’s a very nice little course in a park for five bucks. Mhm. And with it being really hot and humid today, there’s clouds. Just a splash pad. It’ be very frowned upon, but I would use it if there was no one on it. I’m just saying. And he’s not joking. If I was the only person around, I would 100% use it. Don’t know why I hit that so late. It’s okay. I thought the same thing on the last hole on my second one. Wow. A hole in one luck. It is gone. Oh my. Wow. You have got the lips. All right. Oh, thanks. Those two. Just kidding. Just kidding. Just kidding. I missed the triangle. I thought I was going in the water. I really thought I was going to launch mine out. I was not trying to hit the rock. I was trying to hit the triangle. Obviously, it’s been a long hot day. My brain ain’t working anymore. Yeah, that I got a little scared at first. Nice two, girl. Look at those both getting a two again. It might be the first time we’ve both gotten a two the whole game. I’m not really sure. I can’t remember. Look at us getting a two. Yeah, I hadn’t had the best start. Hey, you know what? We still got 12 holes to go. We got a lot of time. Oh, what a shot. Wow. I thought you were going to go to the other side of the triangle. I hit the ground, but it might be a good thing. Yeah, that’s a good thing. Wow. I wish I could pretend like that was on purpose, but I really hit the ground hard when I swung. I didn’t think it was going to make it to the hill. Nice. I thought it was going to limp out again. Yeah, at this point I expect it. Hey, nice do though. Not really sure how to aim for this. I had nothing. I just wanted to get through that and not bounce in the water off the rocks. That was my only two goals. Lord, no. Okay, I made it. You can go ahead if you’d like to. Nice shot. That was good. I scared myself at the first one. I thought I was going to run right into that brick thing. A little cooking. Mhm. I was going to go around. We need to do a take a pause real quick if you unclench some things. Something. Okay. Make sure. Oh, wow. Yes. Yes. What a bounce. That was a crazy bounce off the brick. That’s what I expected to happen. God, bug, quit trying to go in my eyes and my nose. I just don’t like playing with a longer club like this, but I feel like I’m actually doing pretty decent with it. I need to start changing it up. Well, it is the actual like size that’s intended for your height. Yeah, I like a shorter one for some reason, but I feel like I’m doing pretty good with this. Yeah, that bounced when I hit. Well, that could have been worse. Same. Oh, I thought I was going to just clear it. You can go. You’re definitely in a better spot than me. Going for a bounce. I want to hop out. Gosh. You good? Sorry y’all. Cicada just tried to land on me. It may have here. I don’t see anything. No, I don’t see anything. I think you’re good. I don’t see anything. I think you’re safe. Yeah, they’re everywhere with these trees. I think you’re good. We got a river. I’ll go first. We can try to one, two, three it. It’s up to you. You know what? Why not? Let’s have a pun. So, if it misses, it’s still going to roll down the hill on the side. Assume we’re both going for it. Yep. Count down. All right. One, two, three. Moving. That’s a thick river. So, at least not about a thick deep river. That’s the word. That’s a thick river. That’s some thick water. Where? Yeah, that works. All right, there is a second opening, I guess, if you can manage to fall in the right grate right here. I’m going to slide you. That’s fine. Go, go. Oh, that was cloaked. Here, leave it. If you want me to try to knock you in, I also knock you away. Let’s have some fun. Just going to put out there. My goal is to get it in. So, if I hit you farther away, I put it out there. I’m giving enough that if I do hit you, we both might go in. It worked. Get a two. Yay. There you go. That’s That’s how you get boyfriend points right there. I got Yeah, you do. Got to do what you got to do. It was worth it. That’s risky. That’s going to be tough. So, you have to bounce off the rocks, you got to be careful to not jump in the water. Should Nice. Wow, that had a little more. It might have a great bounce. Oh no, don’t ramp. Okay, at least it ramped back the right way. I’ll go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. I like these just simple little planks to make extra obstacles. I’ll take that. They remind me of the You remember like the colored little blocks that you could build with school and stuff? I was thinking that from the beginning. It’s what they remind me of. That was exactly what I was thinking. And I feel like obviously via like kids or something like we could do it if we had time, but we don’t like whoever was going first could like move the obstacles to set up the hole. Yeah. Or just playing them where they’re left. But it’s a cool thing that you could do that. I can’t I cleared that. It hadn’t really happened yet. Those opening are tail users. Oh, you can drop it back in. Wow. I like my spot. Nice. Bam. That was great. All right, that was a great tube. Thank you. Yeah, if you’re new openings like this, whenever the military uses use out of bounds. There we go. Wait a minute before you hit and off your ball. It was off me. We got a backboard if we can actually hit it. I hit one of them. That was like the revenge bounce for your really good one for the hole in one. That was the bricks coming back saying don’t get comfortable. You know what? Let’s get some more boyfriend points. Oh, I tried. I appreciate the thought, but you’re going to get it. You would. I tried. I was aiming more for you than the hole, honestly. You still get points for take it. Thought it counts. Yeah, I didn’t hit that hard enough. Do you want to go? You’re good. Did you crawl up on my foot? There we go. That was so close. too. Well, this one was set up to be a little bit difficult, huh? Mhm. And as you can see, it’s not like a straight shot from Nope. And there’s really no way unless you try just to avoid the whole thing that you’re going to bounce around. Oh, yeah. You’re right. It is on a little mound. And shout out those little kids in the back. They are some of the nicest kids ever. Yeah. Super respectful. They were behind us and we let them play. We’re like, “Hey, you can play through us.” And they’re like, “Oh, we’ll just skip that hole. We’ll come back to it later. You’re fine.” Super polite little kids. Shout their parents. We need more of that in the world. It’s not me. Yeah, same thing. Up. Come. Yep. Yeah. I I Yeah, it’s not working. My ball may have retired. I tried. Uh, play it out. Yeah, I’m up first. Honestly, can’t go for it in one. It’s like I feel like if you’re ether getting a hole in one or a three, I don’t see how you really get lucky and get a two. Nice spot though. Like, are you sure about bring it around town? This thick turf, I have no idea how far this is going to go. I thought you were going to hop out somehow again. I’m going to bottom. I don’t know how you’d make it around. Yeah, I thought I was going to hop out. As long as you don’t get stuck on the bridge. Probably getting stuck. Feel it right there. Okay, I’ll work with that. I thought you were gonna hit me for a sec. I gave it enough just in case I did because I couldn’t see. Smart. in here. We’re just gonna I can’t really aim anyway. I had nothing. Go ahead. That counts. It hit the These are just These are the super bouncy kind of cups. I think it’s a little bit of a drop of rain cuz I fed it on my kneecap. Or not. A bird really had to pee. One of the two. Honestly, if it wanted to drizzle a little bit right now, I wouldn’t complain that much. It is so muggy. It’s hot. It’s hot. It’s like 105 today. Thankfully, the sun’s behind some clouds right now. It was like 105 today. How in the world are you supposed to do this? Okay, you go first and show us. All righty. I was really just trying to clear the corner. Didn’t exactly work, but I tried. Hey, me too. I’ll try. That’s a tough shot. There’s nothing you can do there. You want me to go or just uh You can keep it going if you want. I’m going to clear the clear the way. Go in. That was an amazing finish. I like that one. That was fantastic. For a $5 city parkowned course, they look really good. Even like if you took the things away, it still a really good layout stuff for the kids to do. I had nothing. So there’s playgrounds, picnic tables, baseball fields, splash pad. There’s actually a lot here. It’s like at least you didn’t go past it. True. That was a good time. Yeah, it was. I really actually enjoyed that. I did too. Minus the cicada. We won’t talk about that. Yeah, I don’t like the cada. No, we won’t talk about that part. Ready for the scores. Mhm.
