Stewart Cink is showing off a beautiful over-the-top move—just like so many of the great swingers throughout history. That classic motion has stood the test of time for a reason, and it still delivers tremendous consistency and power.

My December golf school is fully booked, but I do have some availability for individual lessons if you’d like to work directly with me.

You guys have heard me point out for quite a while that the OTT move that the classic swingers used to use is perfectly viable. Here’s sink at P3 inside on the line. Now, if we follow him up to P5, we’re going to see that his hands have gone over the top of his back swing plane. So, this is a perfectly legitimate way to create tons of speed and leverage. You should give it a try.

  1. I thought you abandoned the OTT? Cink's swing is super steep and obviously works for him but I wouldn't recommend it for the average golfer.
