Kai Trump has received an invitation to a $10 million golf tournament, after finishing in last place in her inaugural LPGA Tour event.
The 18-year-old granddaughter of President Trump made her LPGA Tour debut last weekend. Kai Trump, who is committed to playing college golf at the University of Miami, shot a 13-over 83 last Thursday in her LPGA Tour debut in The Annika in Florida. She ended up missing the cut, finishing in last place in a 108-player field.

“I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I thought I hit a lot of great shots out there,” she said following her first round. “I hit a lot of good shots just to the wrong spots.”
She added: “It was pretty cool because I know I hit it far, but kind of playing with the best players in the world and being literally right there or even outdriving on some of the holes, it felt pretty good. Felt like my game is in a good spot, and especially only being a senior in high school.”

While Kai Trump might not be playing in another LPGA Tour event anytime soon, she has since received a $10 million golf invitation.

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports announced on “The Unnamed Show” on Thursday, November 20 that he has made two big invitations to The Internet Invitational for 2026:
The Internet Invitational, a golf event hosted by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports, put on its inaugural event this year. The Ryder Cup-style tournament had a prize pool of $1 million. It featured dozens of the top golf influencers and YouTube creators from across the country.
Brad Dalke, Francis Ellis and Cody “Beef” Franke ended up winning the tournament, which ended with an 18-hole alternate shot match between two three-person teams.

Portnoy announced on Thursday that he’s aiming for a $10 million prize pool in 2026.
Portnoy added that Kai Trump has already said yes to the invitation, as has Clark, though it remains to be seen if they’ll be able to make it work in their schedules.

While Kai Trump finished at the bottom of the leaderboard, she had extreme class for everyone involved.
“What an incredible honor and opportunity to compete in my first LPGA Tour Event at @theannikalpga!” she wrote.
