The RSM Classic once again marks the final event of the PGA TOUR season, and once again, there is plenty on the line. It all comes down to this for golfers on the top 100 bubble in the FedExCup Fall Standings. Last year, two golfers were able to parlay their results at Sea Island into a jump up the standings with plenty more looking for the same this week. Joel Dahmen is in at No. 117 and looks to re-create some Sea Island magic like a year ago when he shot a final-round 64 to keep his card for 2025. There is more than a trophy on the line this week, for many in the field it is the ability to play on the TOUR next year that matters most. Others in the field include local Sea Island native and United States Ryder Cup Team member Harris English, as well as Michael Brennan, Sahith Theegala, and Luke Clanton

Second for Matthew Nesmith cut there on the right. Oh, right at it. Great shot. This is Isaiah Celinda’s second and 10 on the plantation course. Here’s a guy that I am really high on. Has not had the year that he was expecting. had a chance at Mexico and that is a beautiful start. But if he can sneak his way into that top 100. Yeah, tough angle here. Got to be a little conservative. Last thing you want to do is plug it in that front bunker. Oh, that’s a fantastic shot. Go back to Casside now and Tom Hogi looking to start with a birdie. Oh, slips it in the left side. Let’s go to the third at Casside. Andrew Putnham putting for birdie. He’s got to be licking his chops on this golf course. These greens are perfect and that guy can putt as good as anybody. A lot of good thoughts for Davis Thompson. John coming to this 16th team. His ball strike has been excellent so far. flag back right. Oh my gosh. Davis Thompson very familiar with these golf courses. He was hitting his second at the par five 18th on the plantation course. I’d say he’s familiar. His father’s the tournament director. Todd Thompson. Pretty intimidating back left flag here on 18 the par five, but not not so much for Davis. I mean, it’s two or three that he’s hit today. I mean, that may be the signature shot for Adam Shank as we go forward through his career, but Putnham keeping his foot on the gas right now. Harry Higgs, his second and 16, looking to add to the total. Then gets it up there and perfectly places it into the hole. The buttons are always optional for Harry. Now this putt gets pretty fast at the end. Breaking left to right the whole way. Green’s rolling at about 13 on the stent meter. Hello. Oh yeah. Dials it up from long distance. So now Novak is just three shots back of the lead which is held by Andrew Putnham. Whole location chucked over on the right hand side. Pretty good wedge pin. Nicely done there by JT. Oh yeah, beauty. That was gorgeous. I like that. Good point there. Johnson controlled that spin. Was able to keep it up on that shelf. Carl Villips, one of those players that’s just hovering outside the top 100. Cannot afford to miss this cut. Oh, get in. That’s as good a shot as you can hit. Another one knocking it tight. We will follow that AON 10 and also the top 100 all throughout the week here on Golf Channel is Doug Gim. You saw that red next to his name. He has some work to do this week. There’s Mark Hubard for Birdie, but it is downhill and that’s rolled out unbelievably well. Looked like it was going to struggle all day long and it’s a hoham from 40 ft. Back to level. Here’s the lad who missed a three-footer at the last to take care of his privileges. Cana one under just read one. He’ll need more birdies. Uh maybe one coming here. That’s an excellent approach. Has to get another start in. You don’t want to go too long before the start of next season either. Doug Gim trying to curl one in right to left and he does. The greens are so fun to putt, especially that putt with the shine down grain. You just know what’s going in. If you get it online, you can start walking those in from long range. That’s a great shot at the 18. Yes, it is. Interesting comments for sure from Harris. Brian Harmon now. Average from 107. Perfect angle from that left hand side of the fairway with that hole on the right. Under the hole. That is a great look. And the fairway at 13 hitting a second. Yeah, I’m 82 yds off the down slope. Needs to be able to create some spin from this position. How did that not hit Harmon’s ball right there? That was incredible. Chz Revy. Oh, awesome shot. Just an outstanding year he had on the Cornferry tour this season. Number one on their points list. Getting his feet wet out here on the PGA Tour as well. He is. Look at that. Got to carry it nearly all the way there. Just a wedge. Straight up in the air. Trying to draw back. If it’s the right club, should be good. Oh, it was very good. Trying to push it back towards the flag. Sew Kim putty for Bernie. got the short putter this week. Wonder if he’ll change. Some weeks he goes from the short putter to the long putter in the same tournament. Never know. See, 2017 players champion. Whatever he’s doing, he’ll try to repeat that. Joe Highmith hitting his third at the par 51 18th. see him there in green at 69. Wouldn’t he love to get it to that 51 to 60? Absolutely. Picked up his first win at the Cognizant Classic of the Palm Beaches earlier this year. Yeah, with shots like that. Awkward putt. You can see all the different grain changes he’s going to have to deal with with this one. Should break back to his left at the very end. Oh, he rattles that one home. Tumi Kaya and he can use them all. All of these guys. JP’s the best. I actually took a couple lessons from him. Unfortunately, he couldn’t undo the the years of the bad of mine, but he’s uh players love working with him. Oh, Davis rolls that one into tie for the lead with Rico Hois. And now two players are at 10 under par, but Rico still has the par 518th. Trevor Con and he gets second at the 18th. He’s hit every green today in regulation. He doesn’t like with that one. Just don’t be right. Doing his best to wait just showed up. What was that? Really, really dialed in or guard now. He’s at the ninth. Final hole of the day. What a way to finish. Going at all today. He’s one over par. Hit a poor T- shot here. Wide right. Big swing from right to left as it comes back over the slope. Oh, bit of a bonus there for Bren. Okay, that looked like two all the way there, Johnson. Wow. Hardly, Billy Ray. Hardly. Over at 16, Doug Gim. just keeps firing at these flag sticks and press forward. Doc Redmond hit his second in the water. This is his fourth shot at 18. Having to drop way back there as well. Uh-oh. Heck of a shot there. Thompson, Hoey, and Gim all 10 under par. and Gim with one hole to play on the seaside course. Really good scoring today, Justin. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. To watch more, click here. The invisible man Rico Honey. Shoots a bogey free 62 and not one highlight.
