Breaking +10 | Just do it | Zala Springs Golf Resort Hungary

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and yes, I say girls because 5% of the viewers are female now. So, shout out to all the ladies which are watching this video. Honey, you are no longer alone. Uh, today I’m filming at Sisala Golfite here in Hungary. I already uploaded the front nine. I will link it somewhere up here. But now we are on the back. I made a little bit of a bold statement. Um, in part one, I challenged myself to play nine over or better. Well, the dream is still alive. I’m currently eight over after the front nine, but we need some miracles to achieve a 9 over. Ladies and gents, here’s editing Sebastian, and I’m just here to inform you I messed up the whole counting um for the back nine. on the front nine. We are not finished with um eight over. We finished with seven over par. So just keep in mind that it’s always one stroke less than I’m talking throughout the whole video. Now first hole of the back n hole number 10. A pop for 370 m into the green. Big stick of the tea. Aiming left to letting the ball turn over to the right. Oh, hold it big times. Knock it down, wind. Knock it down. Didn’t see it bounce. Could be in the long stuff. We found it in the long stuff. 130 middle of the green. Looks like a little bit of a maybe chumpy lie, but uh green starts at 150 m. So, pitching wedge into wind. Oh, in the bunker left of the green. Found the greenside bunker. Uh, distance was quite okay. Looks quite okay. 4 m all uphill. Shouldn’t break too much. Just aiming left half of the cup. Oh, it looked too good for too long. Starting with a bogey. One over after one hole. But now nine over for the round. Yeah, eight PS incoming. [Music] [Music] Second hole of the back n hole number 11 of the round. Par five 470 m all into wind. driver laying up probably today and then attacking the green with a wedge is the plan. Hammers this one. I hope I carried the bunkers on the right hand side. We had a little bit of a lucky break to our advantage. Ball kicked a little bit left. So not in the bunker. Didn’t carry it. Just uh rode it beside the bunker. Now left 250 m of the green 7 laying up. It’s all into wind. I have no chance to reach the green. Oh no. Nearly shanked it. Second time in this hole. I got lucky. Found my ball here. Just uh just Okay. 90 m to the pin. Um the high route is a little bit blocked out by this trees. So um playing a 52 80 m shot should release. Everything on the green is just fine. Yeah. On the green. Two parts. Easy par. Left with 8 m to the hole but short of the pins. So everything’s uphill. Um, in the start it should break a little bit left to right in the end, right to left. So once again, all in all quite a straight putt. Oh, settle down. Settle down. Settle down. Settle down. Oh no. Good pace. Good pace. Finally. I thought I hammered it. [Music] Tap in par. Move to hole number 12. [Music] Hole 12. First pass three of the back nine. And just as the other passes, quite a beast. 163 m to the middle of the green. We should be on the green. Maybe a smidging long, but along is better than short on this hole. A little bit long. Sixiron would have been enough. Went didn’t touch it as much as I thought. Now, a little bit of a tricky chip shot. Um, ideally bumping it into the up slope. Let it roll down. Yeah, right idea. A little bit of a error uh from the starting line, but we have a putt for P. Left with four meters all uphill. Uh should break uh left to right. It’s into wind. Good roll but ah lacking speed. Next bogey even the books. Now 10 over for the round. Two over for the back nine. [Music] hole 13 second par four of the back nine this time a shorter one 290 middle of the green I don’t think driver is a play I will play four or five iron off the tea just plotting my way from the middle of the fairway with the second shot onto the green two putt and once Again, pars are our friends. We are currently 10 over. I need one birdie, but we have plenty of holes left. Making no bogeies. Or more important, don’t make any more double or triple bogeies. That’s the key. Flirting with the left hand bunker. Found the sand trap of the tea, but no big deal. 121 to the pin. 150 mil of the pin. Playing a pitching wedge out of the sand. Wind knock it down. Oh, it’s to completely on the pin. Oh, could be a good one. Could be a good one. 4 m for birdie. Once again, I don’t see too much in it. Maybe it’s breaking a smidgen right to left in the end. [Music] Once again, left it short on the line. What a pity. But we made a power. Let’s move on. [Music] [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] While I’m waiting for the 14th fairway to clear that I can hit my t-shirt, you can subscribe to the channel, like the video, and comment down below if you don’t like slow play. [Music] 14th hole at Salah Springs golf resort here in Hungary is on par 4 330 m to the pin a slight dog leg to the right. I’m not sure what to hit on but I will decide when it’s time but probably I’m going to hit my 3-wood cutting a little bit off of the corner to have a shorter second shot into the green. 14 m to the pin. Wind is a little bit of off the left. No, off the right. Off the sorry, off the right, but not that much into. So, gap wedge should be enough club. Strike was okay. Yep. On the green. Maybe birdie. Two quality shots in a row. Landed nearly pin high. Rolled out and rolled down a little bit. But once again, we found the right side of the pin. Right side was this one. This time uh the right side. The right side. Yeah, the right side was the right side. Now we have once again an uphill pot breaking maybe a smidgen left to right but the wind should hold it a little bit. Oh come on. Pace control is everything. Aiming for the middle of the cup. pushed it a bit, but the hole catched the ball and time. [Music] We are back to nine over. So, hey, maybe today is the day and I finally score in singledigit numbers. But there’s plenty of golf left. Currently, we are on hole number 15. The next power four this time 350 meters. We have the wind behind of us and as it seems a lot of space in front of us. So driver of the T- box and maybe just a flick into the green. Oh, leaking a little bit to the left, but well, maybe still on the fairway thanks to an American golf design. I celebrated a little bit too early. I saw it bouncing and I thought it maybe stayed on the ver, but it kicked to the left. And um because it’s everything is dried out, it kicked into the water hazard now. Facing my third shot 100 m front of the green 13 middle of the green went from behind. And this one is too short in the bunker. Yep. Settle release a little bit. Now putting four bogey 4 and 1/2 m all downhill. Once again looks quite straight. Ah, once again left the church. Double bogey. Now 11 over par. [Music] The double bogey on hole 15 still stinks a little bit. Now I’m back to 11 over. So not back to 11. Now I’m 11 over. So following up a birdie with a double bogey is not the way to shoot a low score. But 11 over. We are still in the race for the lowest round on my YouTube channel when I’m playing solo. So wish me luck. I can finish off strong. Now we have another strong par three. It’s just 150 to the pin. But when you look at this PI once again, bunkers, drop off areas. Um not a fun to see, but I think with uh the wind from behind, I will play a eight iron. Everything on the green is fine for me. Oh, it’s right on the flag. Come on, go. Yeah, we are on the dance floor. T-shirt a little bit too long. Uh, more wind from behind than I expected. Would be probably a nine iron, but uh, a chip and a pot would seal the deal. Yipped it a little but on the green. Now left with around 2 m left edge. Come on. Catch it. Ah. Broken wall than expected. Oh yeah. 12 over. Hole number 17. Second last hole. Uh shortish par 4. 290 m to the green. Um, but the green is uh behind uh the left uh corner of this trees. So I will aiming directly for the green. Ripping driver. Get it close. Chip on. Put birdie. We So 70 m left into the green. I think ball hit the stone wall and luckily kicked forward. Uh 50 beginning of the green. Oh, come on. Story of the day. Just a little bit short. Looked way closer from 70 m away. But once again, we left us the better part. It’s all uphill. Uh 6 to 7 m. And this one is really breaking a left right. I’m 100% sure I’m aiming a little bit outside of the cup. Come on. Yes. Let’s go. Second birdie of the round. Back to 11A. [Music] Last hole of the round, hole 18 at Salosping Skulls Resort is on par five. And with an amazing green complex, I can tell you um already I have the chance to shoot the lowest solar round on this YouTube channel. I don’t have to mess up the last hole with an eagle. I still can shoot nine over and break the initial goal. So now on this par five, is there an eagle possible? Well, it’s 405 m even downwind. I need to proper shots or the third one must drop and well that needs more lax and winning in the lottery. So, um maybe a birdie is possible. Going to 10 over would be a nice uh ending considering I was eight over after nine holes. So, back nine. I turned out to be an back specialist. But now back to the hole. 504 meters. Good one. I think once, twice. So I bounced in two times. Should be in the fairway. Hit a good t-shirt. Left with 230 m into the green. So, no need to attack the green. Um, when we are on the green, you will understand why. Just laying up nice pitching wedge, leaving me around 100 m or a little bit less into the green. That’s the plan. Yeah. And that will do. 90 m to the pin with my search. 70 m to cover the front left bunker. So sand wedge foolish swing should be just right. And now with all the bunkers, water and drop off surrounding the screen, you know why I didn’t attack from 230 m out. Um pitch shot was okay. Uh landed pin highish and because it’s downwind just released 8 m breaking severely left to right. First part is a little bit downhill then uphill. So should play this 8 m quite exactly. Get it close. Easy part. Oh, come on. Come on. Come on. Oh, you are kidding me. It’s a pity. But ending the 18 holes at Salah Springs Golf Resort with some par playing 11 over for the day. We didn’t break my goal of nine over for 18 holes, but it’s the no it’s the new lowest round on my channel. Ladies and gents, it’s a wrap. 18 holes at Silus Springs Presert are in the books. And I just mean, look at this beautiful clubhouse in the background. or I will show you uh the clubhouse, the water, just an stunning place. Shout out for Salah Springs for having me um making this possible that I could film on this beautiful day. Big shout out once again to Julia, my wife, behind the camera for 18 holes. Um I hope you enjoy it. When you are in Austria or near the Hungarian border or even in Hungaria, make sure to check out this stunning place. This is no paid commercial. I just made holidays here and decided to film on the last day, the full 18 rounds. So, if you made it this far in the video, once again, please subscribe. Let me maybe a comment below if you like this type of uh golf course reviews. And now see you the next time.
