Hi guys the videos show the following:

1 and 2 – left misses on the course
3 and 4 – ranger after trying to get rid of it

So today I played 9 holes and struggled with a two way miss, I only got the left misses on camera but not sure why this was happening.

On the range I was focusing on stopping inside takeaway but it just felt so wrong and made me more inconsistent.

Any ideas where I might be going wrong?

From your video, the top two issues seem to be sideways movement in the backswing and a too-upright setup. That sideways movement can push the club outside and lead to a left miss. Tip 1: keep your spine still and rotate your chest toward the target instead of sliding. Tip 2: at address tilt a little more forward and soften your wrists so the club stays inside on the downswing. Your hybrid tempo feels a bit slow; a smoother, relaxed swing can help both fixes click.

You need more width in the backswing. You collapse your arm a bit. I only know this because I do the same thing lol.

Basically you’re relying on timing to square the face instead of having a wider swing arc.

My pro gave me the tip to feel like you’re pushing the club away from your body.

You also need to work on weight shift and hip turn. Overall though really nice swing

Club twirling a double cross is diabolical.

I agree with others here that you need more width. It looks like you practiced too much with something under your right armpit. Your right arm is pinned to your side and the circle is too narrow. The club gets pulled inside and shut. Try this: Get into your address. Take your left hand off the club. Swing back right hand only to a 3/4 position pushing the palm away from you but still keeping the arm front of the chest. Allow some space between the right upper arm and chest/torso. Now reach and grab the club with your left hand. Feel the stretch and coil required while you keep that right hand pressing away from you. Make a downswing from there. Repeat until you ingrain that backswing feel.

It’s not one thing. The inside takeaway is taking away width in your swing. So when you fix that you need to change the sequencing in transition because you are so narrow now, and trying to get to the ball as fast as possible and opening your chest right away. When you have more width you need to be patient on top, letting the hands fall moving away from the ball while keeping your chest away from target longer before stepping on the grass and firing your hips

Only thing to fix is that inside takeaway everything please will resolve itself one you fix that.

It’s not going to get fixed here. It’s fundamentally incorrect. Inside takeaway. Reverse pivot. Right arm collapses. Left arm collapses. Flip the hands. Early extension and loss of spine angle. Go get a lesson.

Too inside backswing, but only 1 and 2 misses for 9 holes. pretty good
