RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men’s and women’s golf teams welcomed nearly 50 participants for a free golf clinic last week at River Bend Resort & Golf Course in Brownsville.
UTRGV men’s and women’s golf student-athletes spent time with the participants on the putting green, chipping green, and the driving range. Participants rotated through sessions spending time and interacting with student-athletes and coaches.
Following the sessions participants and their parents took part in a question-and-answer session.
UTRGV Athletics is grateful to River Bend Resort & Golf Course for allowing the golf programs to share their passion and knowledge for the game of golf with the community.
