If you put your golf ball into the pocket that’s warm, that’s going to be heated, that is illegal in golf. Hi, I’m Sarah Bidney, PGA director of instruction at Hyperion Field Club in Johnston, Iowa. So, first thing as we start layering up, try to use pieces that aren’t super bulky. Less you can have on their arms, the better. I will say for the heated vests, um, one big thing to make sure that you are aware of is if you put your golf ball into the pocket that’s warm, it’s going to be heated. That is illegal in golf. So, make sure you put it in your, uh, pants pocket. Body warmth is totally fine. But if you put it into a pocket that has a hand warmer or this one has warmers built into it, um, it is a disqualification for a tournament. So, please be aware of that. Then as you’re going um and they say you have a bunch of layers and like I said this vest is a little bit bulky it can restrict the amount of turn that you can make. So a wearing layers that are a little bit lighter um and are only vest instead of all full length in your but even so if you have to turn shorter just make sure that you don’t try to muscle it from there. Give yourself a nice smooth tempo and you’ll be able to hit that ball better in the cold weather. Have fun playing this fall. It’s some of the best weather to play in. See out there on the
