Yosuki Asaji who put in the low round of the day yesterday with a 65. The shot into the second hole will set up his first birdie of the round at the very next hole. The man with four wins on the Japan Tour and 13th currently in the International Series rankings will find his second birdie of the round. We’re wondering if anyone was going to get off to a hot start and separate from the pack. Well, I think we’ve got an answer. That’s three birdies in a row. And then on the par three fifth, another good T-shot and another four in a row for Yuk Asgi. And it doesn’t appear to have stopped this on the par four, sixth. Five under for his first six holes and he’s now established a three shot lead. Laid up into this right rough here in the par 57. Yoske, he’s been doing really well finding the right platforms on the screens. He’s done it again. Just he’s had six putts in six holes. Pretty much holds out everything he’s looking at. This one should move a little to his right. He’s human after all. He gets to 20 under par if he makes this. I mean, I I don’t see anyone else getting to 20 under. Oh, hold on. That’s got to be five, six feet past. Oh, yeah. Whoa. And just stay in the moment. Right to left putt. Oh, three putt bogey. This to bounce back after that three putt on hole nine and maybe to get some nerves back in place. Left to right, uphill putt. Oh, looking to just bump this into that first up slope, kill some of that speed and trickle it down towards the pin. [Applause] some confidence moving forward. Hasn’t seen a birdie in a few holes now. Little downgrade left to right. Have to start this one online for it to have any chance. And he did. [Applause] This is such a tricky putt to read. There’s some subtleties. to every 10 12 feet of this pot. Whether it’s the grain or just a little bit of undulation, very subtle. [Applause] Contact is so key from lies like this. Just don’t really know how it’s going to come out. Oh, that missed a sprinkler head. That sounded rather thin. H putting straight into this wind. Moving to his left. Oh, what a putt. [Music] He can’t believe it. It’s a bogey. He drops back to 18 under, but he’ll still be in the lead after one of Chin’s bogey at 17. After laying up off the tea, Yusuke has 86 into this backhole location. It’s on a small plateau. He’s got a little bit of a back stop. Not much. Can probably be played quite aggressive. And he has [Applause] trying to calm that heart rate down. These are the kinds of shots you have to take a few deep breaths with the adrenaline running through your veins. He’s got 88 yds downwind and off the left into a tucked hole location. Don’t want to flirt with short. There’s plenty of room behind this pin to maybe try and spin it back. Can’t imagine he’s going to play this too aggressively though. [Music] Oh, that could be the tournament winning pot. Yuki Asaji gets to 19 under a 67. Now all the pressure in the world is on Jun Hong Wang behind him. Well done. Fantastic. Thank you. Well done. Good luck. Best of luck both boys. It’s too far, right? Oh, [Music] he’s going to be forced to lay up here. That ball’s sitting up pretty nicely. It’s pretty soft underneath it as well. Ball above his feet from this angle certainly brings the penalty area to sight a little bit more. It’s going up the right side. Yeah. Needs to find the fairway. Little bit more wind picking up. He’s got 108 slight elevation. So, probably playing 110, but it is downwind. All he needs is to play that same shot that he did [Music] or better. So, Yoskoki Asaji has two parts to win the Mai Singapore Open and he only needs one. What a win for the Japanese. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Too big. Will you come down, please? Yes.
