Perez, 33, arrives as a natural fit for a team known for its competitive edge and cultural flair. He joins a multinational line-up featuring athletes from Germany, Poland, England and now France, and will make his LIV Golf debut at the 2026 season opener in Riyadh.

Since turning professional in 2015, Perez has carved out an impressive résumé with victories at the 2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, the 2022 Dutch Open, and the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He also represented France at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Away from competition, his personality, style, and contemporary approach to the sport sit comfortably with Cleeks Golf Club’s identity.

“Joining Cleeks Golf Club for the 2026 season feels like joining golf’s next great chapter, as this club continues to push boundaries, perform at the highest level, and bring fresh energy and vision to the game,” Perez said. “The sport’s growth has been incredible, and LIV Golf’s innovation and energy are driving it forward. I’m excited to be part of that momentum and can’t wait to get started in Riyadh.”

Perez links up with German two-time major champion and team captain Martin Kaymer, Englishman Richard Bland and Polish star Adrian Meronk. A founding LIV Golf team, the Cleeks opened their 2025 campaign strongly with Meronk winning the season-opening event in Riyadh, setting a high bar for what they hope to build on in 2026.

“There’s been tremendous interest in joining Cleeks Golf Club, and we’re thrilled to welcome Victor as the final piece of our roster,” Kaymer said. “With LIV Golf driving innovation in the game, we’re focused on building not just a stronger team but also contributing to building the next generation of global golf stars. Victor embodies the precision and passion that will help us forge that path.”

The signing also strengthens Cleeks Golf Club’s broader ambition to blend performance with culture. The team has partnered with lifestyle and artistic collaborators in recent years, including Brooklyn label Public Drip, mixed-media artist Jacob Felländer, and The Art of Golf campaign, which invited digital artists to design golf bags for use throughout the 2026 season.

“Victor is a world-class player who embodies everything Cleeks Golf Club stands for,” said Jonas Martensson, Cleeks Golf Club General Manager. “He has the talent, the mindset, and the style to elevate our team both on the course and beyond it. We’re delighted to welcome him into the Cleeks family.”

Perez will tee it up for the Cleeks for the first time in February at LIV Golf Riyadh, a debut that arrives with real anticipation and renewed ambition for the club’s 2026 campaign.
