In honor of the CME Group Tour Championship kicking off this week (starting November 20th!), we teamed up with the LPGA for a special Golf Girl Games challenge.

Last year’s CME champion Jeeno Thitikul fired an unreal 63 (-9) at Tiburón. So we decided to see if two Golf Girl Games players — Sabrina Andolpho and Cailyn Henderson — can team up in a 2-person scramble and try to beat her winning score on the same course and tees the LPGA plays.

Today, Kayn and I have a super fun challenge. In honor of the CME Group Tour Championship, we are trying to beat the past winner score. Gino shot a 9 under record 63. The largest prize in women’s golf goes to Gino Kitty in dramatic fashion. Kaylin and I are doing a scramble together. We’re going to play 18 holes. We have to shoot nine under. We want to shoot 10 under. and beat her score just to show you guys how amazing these LPGA players really are. This is exactly the yardage and the course that they’re going to be playing this championship at. And make sure to tune in on November 20th through the 23rd to watch the actual LPGA girls play. We’re like the the pre girls that are going to play. Not as good though. Okay, real quick. So to the end where all those trees are, it’s 275. And on the right side to get past those trees is 195. So just kind of string it up the right side. I’d say first drive swing of the day. You just hit wedges. I I scoldled three wedges and then stopped. Perfect. That’s actually really good, Sabrina. Wow. Yeah. Wait, hold on. Yeah. Center of the fairway. Could not be more perfect of an aim right there. I played in the ProAm here a couple years ago. I remember I was so nervous on the first te I I played with Ronnie. Yeah, it’s perfect. I wish it was a little bit more right, but like it’s still it’s good. All right, guys. Let’s see. Okay, we basically just need to birdie the first hole. We need to birdie a lot of holes. How many holes do we need to birdie? Well, nine. Just nine? Yeah. Okay. Or you could get some. I’m telling you, I think we’re going to do really well. Yeah, I think so, too. Guys, what do we think about these glasses, though? I love them because I was I lost my glasses, so I was wearing my grandmother’s bedazzled glasses, and Kayn, without even, you know, saying anything, just handed me these. I The first thing I noticed was the bedazzled black glasses. And they’re big. Big frames. Oh, do you see how we out drove the same distance here? I out drove you a little bit. Let’s be real here. Like, what is that by 1 cm? Actually, by not a lot. That’s true. Did you hit her as well? I hit mine pretty well. Oh, unfortunately I don’t like saying that, but I kind of did it a while. Wow. I mean, is this a par five? Where’d you put my range? Oh, here it is. Yeah, par five. Oh, okay. So, like from here, from your ball, 188 from my ball, it’s 176. Is that a good angle, you think? Yeah, I think we choose mine. Oh, are you sure? Positive. Okay. Yeah. Wow, that was pretty good. I chunked it a little, but it’s it’s around up there somewhere. Okay. That’s really good. You got it back there. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s go, baby. I feel like a birdie is definitely happening. I think so, too. So, the CME is very similar to the FedEx Cup for the men. So, only the top 60 players in points make it to the CME, which is cool because we’re going to kind of see the best girls. Exactly. And it’s their final event of the year. The Here’s the difference between the women and the men. From what I’ve realized, the women are so accurate. They You’ll notice they don’t miss a fairway. That’s the difference between men and women on PGA versus LPJ is the accuracy off the tea. Okay, so we actually both hit it on the green. Yeah. Let’s like I’m gonna look at this today. I would absolutely love that Sabrina because the thing is with a scramble like you and I will be fine off the TN on irons. It’s the putts. Oh yeah. Like this stuff matters. Do you feel really good about your putting? Cuz if you do, should I go first? Yeah. My putting feels insane. Okay, let me go first. I’ll show you the line. I liked everything about that putt. Hole one, one under. We are trying to shoot nine under to either I mean, are we trying to beat her score? I feel like Yeah. Yes. Okay, we’re trying to beat her score. So, technically, we need to shoot 10 under. Yes, I agree. Okay, so hole one, one under. I We feel very good about our games. We’re going to go insanely low like you’ve never seen before. Thank you. I’m sweating so much right now. I actually have to be very careful in the sun because I just had this thing called a moxy laser done where I like So right now I have brand new fresh baby skin. What? Yeah. I can’t get it in the sun or else I’ll get actually sun marks. Well, you’re in the sun a lot right now. Yeah. Okay. So, next hole is 335 par4 from the whites. So, we’re playing we’re playing around 6,400 yards which is where are they playing? It’s close cuz I They probably play 6450, maybe 65, but this is like the closest that we could get. Oh, dog leg left, Sabrina. This is a great golf hole. Mhm. Yeah, the line is very, very left. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Couldn’t be more perfect. Could not be more perfect. Is that fun? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s the line. Okay. So, honestly, just do that cuz we have one in play. Holy smokes, that was killed. Wow, look at us. Nice. That was killed. Off to just a fantastic start here. We probably have a wedge in. Wow. This is a really tight fairway actually. Oh, it’s tight. And like that is not fun to like This is the thing. We’re obviously playing a scramble, so we’re kind of like chilling. But like right here is OB. And I just know when you’re in a tournament, you are definitely thinking about that. Exactly. You know what? Now that I think about it, I remember all the girls laid up to here. They all hit like a hybrid off the tea. Yeah, because driver’s a little dumb on this one because there is I mean, think about it. We striped it and Obie’s like right there. Okay. 63 yards. 63 yards. Literally smooth. Yeah. Smooth and chill. And smooth and chill. Come on. Of course. That just sat so It just sat. That felt so nice though. Really solid. See, here’s the thing. This is Bermuda grass. So, I used to be very scared about this grass, but something that you’ll realize on like Scotty Chef, Lenelli, Corda, like name any of the LPGA girls in the down swing, no one’s head gets closer to the ground on wedges. Like, it all comes up just a little. Like, watch Scotty. It’s crazy. That’s fine. No, I hit it really solid. Like, it spun it like a ton. Oh, that’s what you were trying to do? Yeah, I hit that one. I think you just bleeded that. No, I hit it perfect. Okay, great shot. Here we go. Oh my goodness. Let’s go. What have you changed about your putter? Cuz I remember you used to not be fond. What’s going on? I don’t know. Like it’s really solid. I just I’m trying to just feel more confident. Yeah, it was a nice firm aggressive stroke. That’s when you know you have confidence in putting if it’s like firm. Okay, we are two under through two. What’s your lowest score? 66. 66. Is it Was that in a tournament? No. My lowest score in a tournament was 68. It was so weird though because when I did shoot that, I was hitting the ball like the worst I’ve pinned in so long. But your short game had to have been on fire. It was just I was thinning everything like right next to the pin. Like, have you ever seen me just thin it so bad, but it like somehow goes next to the pin all the time? Yeah. Like it was just that the whole time. I was like, “Okay, cool.” My lowest score ever was a 63, but it was at my home course in a tournament at 64. When you are shooting that low, you like blind out everything. Like everything just makes sense and every Oh my gosh, we’re going to be waiting a lot. Every time you get on the putting green, you just have this feeling like, oh, it’s in. Like you just get in this crazy focus mode. You had an insane putting streak going there. That was insane. Well, you this just this whole course is a little bit narrow. Remember when I played? I definitely think that’s its defense here because that OB was so close to the fairway. Oh no. Let’s see. Fine. I think it’s fine. It’s going to be in the sand. Oh, it’s Oh, it’s totally fine. It’s in the Yeah. Left side of the fairway. Yeah. No problem there. I’m telling you, this whole little thumbs up thing that I’ve been doing in my golf. I actually tried that. Did it? Do you like it? Yeah, kind of. This whole like I just go thumbs up and like as you’re turning it keeps the club head in front of the handipping for me. cuz I come inside a lot. And like I thought it would cut my wrist at the top of the swing, but it doesn’t. Of course. Stay right there. I hit that well. It’s just leaking a little bunker. Maybe I can’t really see. But it’s interesting cuz like my miss used to be this huge right slice. That’s my miss now, which is like totally fine. The LPA, it’s been around for what, 75 years now? This is it. 75th season. Mhm. Yeah. What year was that? That the first year of the LPJ. Oh, we’re cart path only. Uh 75 years. So 1950. Is that when they started the LPGA? 1950. Season. It’s their 75th season. Oh fairway. Heck yeah, baby. See like this hole sneaky narrow. I mean from back there like it looks open, but with the waist bunker here and OB with the fence, it narrows up a lot. But this hole because it’s 400 yards like you I think you kind of have to use driver just to get the distance. I’m gonna Google what the average LPJ driving distance is. I want to say it’s like around 245 actually. Okay. One what was it again? 145 146. Oh jeez. I can’t I I I struggle with the irons. Okay. I’ve got you. It’s actually totally fine. Okay. See? Okay. Do you think that wind is hurting at all? Cuz if it’s hurting at all, it’s my eight iron. It’s not. It’s helping. Really? Yeah. I feel like it’s on her back. Okay. Oh my gosh. That’s good. Turn left. So, Sabrina and I were playing in the proam of the CME Group Tour Championship. I’ve never played in a proam. You are going to love this. I’m excited for this. It’s the most chill thing ever really. And you just get to meet all the LPGA girls. Okay, let’s just make this to go three. Breaking right to left a little bit. Once again, everything’s just confident and firm. Just pulled it a little. And it makes it way more fun because as long as you can hit it pretty straight up there like your pro will just love you. Okay, we are two under through three. We’re on hole four now. It is a little bit of a dog leg left. It is 398 yd te. Yeah, 393. Okay. Mhm. This one’s wide off the tea it looks like. Yeah, you definitely want to favor the left side just to cut off some distance. Yeah, it’s right in the bunker. bunker. That’s fine. I’ve got you on this one. Thumbs up. It’s all I’m thinking about. It’s nice to only have one swing thought. Normally, I have six. Stay a little left. It’s fine. Whatever it is, it’s just left of that trap. Yeah. You want to know what’s funny? I feel like there’s a lot of ways to think about that. Like, for example, you can also be like if this is like facing the floor, right? Yeah. Cuz if if it starts pointing that way, a lot of people will have their golf emblem face this way cuz as soon as you start going up at the sky, some people roll their wrist. Oh, I like that one, too. It’s so weird because some things will click with you and some things won’t. Marriage, we’re kind of at that age though in life. Like think about 25, 26. I Okay, when I was in high school, I thought I was going to be married with kids by 24. Really? Mhm. I really did. because I have that like natural just, you know, I’m gonna be a wife, blah, blah, blah. I’m gonna try the thumbs up thing right now. Like I guess like sometimes when I do stuff like that, I forget to like turn my body. And then I go like just like this. Oh, and if you just go thumbs up. Yeah. It doesn’t look good. We’re on kind of a hill here. I know. I cannot stand when the ball is above my feet. It’s the worst. Hey, no, that could work out really well. Okay, please run up there. And that’s the thing with the scramble. I know we’ve said it before, but it’s like you expect to make everything just because it’s a scramble. Sneaky. So this one it’s a par five, 545 yards. It doesn’t even look tight, but I remember this hole being tight. We just got to put one in the fairway. But that’s another thing that I think some people don’t realize is like with the greens the girls like you really actually have to take into consideration the grain like it’s an actual thing. Oh my. Yeah, cuz remember when we play all those 2v2 v2s for nine holes, six under is pretty good. True. How’d you sleep? I slept like a baby. Did you? Yeah. Oh my goodness. I I’ve been watching the show White Lotus. Have you heard of that? I’ve heard of it and I’ve tried watching it and I kind of felt icky watching it. Yeah. Yeah, it is a little dark. I like it. So Sabrina and I we we got in yesterday and we went to this out outlet shopping mall, went to Lululemon and Sabrina walks in, tries on 20 pieces, 20 items, and then gets nothing. The lighting in the dressing room was so bad to me. Like it was like this overhead lighting. I just looked so bad. I It Lighting makes a huge You know who has really good lighting? Aritzia. Aritzia. I was just going Aritzia needs to put individual mirrors though. They do cuz sometimes you don’t want to go outside and show everybody uphill. See dog breaking a little left to right down grain slightly but it’s uphill. Oh, I like this. Oh, it just doesn’t It breaks at the very end. Maybe just go left edge. It’s so like that’s so think about how impressive that is. So, Gino, she is one of my favorite golfers on the LPGA cuz like from afar she looks like quiet, contained, whatever. She is hilarious. Big personality. 156. Into the wind. Into the wind. Yeah. I’m playing a 175. I’m playing 170 club then. Did the fans like it? Did the fans The fans are saying go ball. Oh. Oh, it’s perfect. Really? No, it’s really good. Thank you. Good job. Actually, yeah. I think that was kind of like within 10 ft. Sabrina and I have very different ball striking things where it’s like she always just like picks it clean. Notice how replay every shot. I’m telling you, every time it’s you don’t take a divot and I take a honker every time. Yeah. Not like, do you even have dirt on your clubs? No. The fan experience. Wow. The fan experience rough. Well, um, don’t have I don’t have anything to say. I was driving to the driving range with a ranger and he’s worked here for 20 years. So, he’s worked with the CME for like 20 years and he was saying how he’s seen the fans grow so much over the years. But I still feel like there’s a lot of growing that we need to do for the girls because they’re so good. I know. They’re so good. And like I think it’s really cool when you see little girls coming out here and watching them cuz like that’s the next generation. What do you guys think? Like just as golfers yourself, like what are some things you would like to, you know, see the LPGA do? That would make you like more intrigued to watch or maybe I don’t know. That would be an interesting thought. I mean, is my ball even like okay? I thought yours was way closer. We’ve got to make this, Sabrina. Okay. Not sure where you were going there, but it started to come back actually. Yeah, it kind of was like an ass break. Yeah. Yeah, it started to come back. Okay. Once again, the par 3es. I just thought thought of something. If you I think the mindset that you have to have is like let’s just say if I miss this putt right now, what changes in in the world? Nothing. Like nothing actually changes. So like that like that it’s like annoying for the goal though. No, I I that’s a good thought process, you know. Did you think I was going to miss? Yeah. Every time I’m with you, I feel like you always have sunscreen on. Really? Yeah. I remember I had like one trip where I was like obsessed with sunscreen. You were. So, you were seeing your facial lady and you were like, “Are you not reapplying?” I’m like, “No.” And you’re like, “You need to reapply at least twice.” I know. I’m like always on something. I’m like, “This is what we’re doing.” You are. And you kind of got me on it for a bit and then I stopped. Well, this is nine. Oh, this is nine. Yeah. We have to birdie this. It’s actually pretty good, too. I like I just like the warm smells. But my combo, what I’ve realized is this. Ready? It’s Prada Candy mixed with Katy Perry. Yeah. Yeah. Katy Perry goes in my hair and then I mix it with alien. Those three. Wa. Is it like do some people smell different with Yes, very much so. Why? Cuz is it like your skin your skin chemical makeup?
