MOREHEAD, Ky. — Tepan Ngamkerdsiri, an accomplished junior golfer from Bangkok, Thailand, is set to join the Morehead State Women’s Golf program in 2026-27.
“The team and I are excited that Tepan has decided to continue her competitive golf career here at Morehead State,” said Head Coach Stephanie Barker. “Tepan is a highly accomplished and internationally experienced player who is very committed to her continued growth on the course, in the gym, and as a human being. She has a very friendly and uplifting personality which will also complement our team. Tepan strikes me as the type of student-athlete who will be a great teammate on and off the golf course.”
Ngamkerdsiri has many accolades in her pre-college career, including winning the U.S. Kids Golf Thailand #3 in 2023, PPTV Junior Golf Tour winner in 2023 and the Thai-Japan junior Golf Super Series title winner in 2023.
She was also the U.S. Kids Golf Thailand third-ranked player in 2024. She was the ISGT Bangkok Pattana Invitational winner with a 72 in March of this year and was the AMG Junior Golf Tour first runner-up in July. She won the AMG Junior Golf Tour at Watermill Golf Club in October.
“I am incredibly excited to become a Morehead State Eagle and to join the women’s golf program. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to continue my golf career at the college level,” she said. “I can’t wait to experience new golf courses and challenge myself in a competitive environment, and keep growing as both a player and a person. I’m also looking forward to becoming a student-athlete and meeting the girls on the team and make memories together, I’m especially excited for the chance to play for Coach Stephanie Barker and represent Morehead State.”
