Highlights | Round 4 | Valspar | 2022

the copperhead course at innisbrook resort final round action the valspar championship defending champion sam burns on the move justin thomas just tried to urge it on for him complimenting the shot and that would set up birdie at the par five fifth he would move to 16 under matt kucher out of the bunker this set 11 the par five and that one’s in from 83 feet great shot out of the sand for kucher and he would hear all those chants from the fans matthew fitzpatrick 11 under looking for birdie that one’s in he moves to 12 under par looking for a top 10 finish one of the best of his career davis riley speaking of that he was looking for a maiden victory came into the final round with the lead by two shots and after a triple bogey eight at the par five he responds with a birdie at eight brian harmon looking for birdie at 12 21 footer to go to 14 under it’s anyone’s game at this point lots of possibilities on the first page back to burns share the lead at 11 the par five and that one nearly connected with the cup from 80 feet to about four feet and he would move to 17 under solo lead could it be in his hands at 12. yes indeed burns buries it and moves to 18 under par trying to join paul casey is the only repeat winner here but hang on justin thomas the t at 13. he was in the group with burns and that was a beauty he would make the birdie moving to 15 under meanwhile matt fitzpatrick also looking to go to 15 under that one’s in on the difficult par three [Applause] 12 under on that stretch of the golf course for fitzpatrick back to thomas fairway at 14 the par five 100 yards and a little zip on this one jt pulling it on a string down that slope to about three feet makes the birdie and moves to 16 under so he was trying to stay with burns at the top this for par at the 16th for our leader beginning of the snake pit and he was able to save his four so he holds it 18 under now at 17 this was a bogey after missing the green but a feel good bogey for sure he drops back to 17 under and then davis riley one last chance after the lost shot by burns he felt like this was his door being swung open and a perfect swing from riley leaves the punt below the hole sets himself up for birdie makes it and we’re tied sudden death play-off the two go through 18 with a par on the card and then at 16. sam burns buries it from 32 feet and now joins paul casey as a back-to-back winner at the valspar championship uh it’s just hitting me uh man it was crazy uh you know davis played played well today uh especially when he finished um you know hats off to him he played great yeah travis and i just tried to stay steady today and um we didn’t make a lot of mistakes and i think you know a lot of times on sundays if you can just kind of plot your way around make a bunch of parts throw in a few birdies here and there a lot of times it works well and man travis just did a great job this week and i’m just so happy your third pga tour win in the last year your first one came right here at the valspar championship a year ago you move into the top 10 in the world rankings what is it about your game right now that’s working so well for you i don’t know i think uh my coach actually came down on on monday just you know struggling the final round of players and just said hey man i need some help and huge thanks to you brad i couldn’t do it without you and uh man just a lot of hard work sam you did it today against a long time friend and competitor for you with davis how much fun was it to play out there with him today oh it’s a blast um you know unfortunately i got the better end of him today but i think um throughout our careers we’ll have a lot of battles and he’s one heck of a player and it’s uh i mean i’m just i’m really happy for for him and how well he’s been playing and uh just excited for for our team thanks for watching the pga tour on youtube to watch another video click right here not here or there right here

  1. Hopefully Davis Riley can keep his form together cause he has serious game. If he didn't have that early triple he could've ran away with this tourney.

  2. I hope JT can play better in the final round. It seems like he’s always down the stretch and then chokes. JT my predictions for the Masters

  3. What a putt to win it but i don't get why he went first. I know there's been a lot of chip ins this weekend but it's a bit weird the guy putting on the green going before the guy chipping from off it.

  4. Even in a playoff they only show the putting highlight. What a joke of a highlight reel. Show a drive or a long approach on a par 5 for gods sake

  5. Every single week I continue to watch these highlights. You guys are absolutely horrible. The highlights you show are just horrendous. I guess I'm the fool for watching

  6. Nobody cares if Matt Douchar made an eagle. We wanna see the contenders shots down the stretch. Why is that so hard to figure out????

  7. Burns one of my favorite players, ending up winning in sudden death with Riley. Great day for watching golf. Congrats to Sam!

  8. very humble guy. wins $1.4m as #1 then immediately starts praising other people during his winner's interview.

  9. Riley Gutted..showed so much heart though..with everything on the line..ripping driver on 16 &18.. not even funny how hard it is to win on tour..never without a sweat..Burns made the clutch putts

  10. When it comes to the world of investing, most people don't know where to start.fortunately, great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance
