Welcome back to the channel, guys. Today, join us at Lichfield Golf and Country Club with LA PGA traininee professional where we’re going to be testing the Copper Rolf Club. This is the only golf club glove in golf we know that’s leather and apparently grips better or grips as well as when it’s wet as and dry. Yeah. So, you brought a bucket of water. The question is, is it hot or cold? I’ll let you find out. It’s freezing. So, I think the best way to do this test um because I just before we go any further, I always recommend having a grippy rain glove in your bag. So, when I found out that this leather glove you can actually play with because it won’t just be for like when it gets wet, it might be sweaty as well. If you’re in hot countries, you know, I’ve been to Portugal before and after six holes in summer, you know, your your hands are sweating that much, you got to change gloves. So, if this does grip as well when it gets wet as when it’s dry, it could be a game changer. Absolutely. So, I think let’s start making two or three balls each with it dry and then we’ll pop our hands in the bucket and see how it does grip. See how it performs. We’ve made a bit of an error, haven’t we? All the gloves that we brought today and I forgot to bring you one. Yeah, but I I don’t have one. The story of the left-handers, honestly. But they they are available, we assure you. So, I’m going to do this test today. You’ve got out of putting your hand in the cold water. I think that’s a bonus. I think I’ve escaped. So, you’re going to have to take my opinion on this one. So, I think first impressions when I put that on, it’s a very snug fit. It’s got like some I’d say like almost nylon stretchy bits here so it gives you a bit more sort of movement across your hand. But no, it fits really nicely and snug. There is a a good range of colors. I would say the ladies have got a nicer colorful range than gents. But uh right, let’s hit a few shots. That is pure a good strike. But I think in terms of the glove, it’s such a comfortable fit. I actually I feel like that’s one I’m going to play in. Right. So, I’ve got a feel for that. I mean, it’s lock tight. It feels good. I think first things first, I’m going to put my hand in the water, hit two shots, and then I’m going to put the entire grip and my hand in the water so it can’t get any more submerged. And I swear if it pulls this test off it will be incredible because I’ve I’ve been caught out in tournaments and I’m not joking Ellie where I’ve not had a rain glo a rain glove in my bag midsummer and the club has literally come out my hand on my down swing. It cost me two shots once in a professional tournament and after that I sort of said to myself I will never ever play golf without a rain glove in my bag and I’ve been a massive advocate for that you know for you guys but if this works and you don’t need a rain glove it’s a no-brainer right so just so you can see hand is going fully in oh it is cold so I can feel that my hands wet inside but it almost it’s like water coming off a duck’s back on, you know, the outside. It’s not kind of, what can I say? It’s not soaking into the leather so much. It runs off almost. Yeah, it runs off. I feel like it’s gone in the glove because there’s the nylon bit in the middle and maybe it’s gone down the sides. But it’s not staying on the outer material. I think that could be the key to why this performs. Let’s give it a a go while it’s wet. Now you’ve got a cold hand. Yeah, cold hand. That’s brilliant. Is that same ball flight as well? It just doesn’t don’t feel like my hand’s going to slip at all. And even the grip’s now starting to get wet, you know, just from the moisture off it. So, I’m not even going to towel dry. I mean, if I were playing in a tournament, I probably would towel dry my hand and the grip. Obviously, you don’t want to play with water on it. on purpose, but you definitely could not. I’d be petrified of swinging, you know, if my glove were that wet leather glove. I think automatically when the glove gets wet as well, you grip harder. So, you tend Yeah, absolutely. I don’t feel like I’m having to grip any harder. So, as you can probably see, there’s a little bit of moisture on the grip, but we’re going to make sure it’s fully submerged. Don’t want water to go down me shaft here. I’ll just pour a bit on here. I’m actually going to hit a couple with driver as well. And in fairness, these are probably not the best uh weather grip, are they? Probably not. Not like a multicompound or anything like that. It’s just a tot standard grip. So, I don’t think we could sort of give this glove more of an ultimate test. Now, it’s really wet. Wow. It’s just not not affecting me whatsoever. I don’t feel like I’m gripping tight. Even just stood here before I swing the club away. I mean, do you want to just have a go pull it out of my hand? You’ve got no chance. Wow. Proper tugof-war. Give it everything. It’s just It’s just lock solid. That’s awesome. That I might start wetting me hands before I go out. Personally, I did not expect that. Yeah, that’s crazy. So guys, that was the Copper Touch Rue leather glove. Massive thumbs up from us. Um, just to sort of conclude, I’m sure there’ll be more colors than this in the range. They’ve sent us a black on black, black and burgundy, and black and white for gents. Now, we’ve seen in the Elite glove for ladies, there’s a lovely color range. So, I’ve no doubt in the RU glove, there’ll be a lovely color range as well. And also, they do a lovely training glove, don’t they? Which we both wear. We’ll just show that. It’s uh it’s part of the elite range. It’s got the sort of two knuckle reminder. It’s got the arrow on the side. Juniors, ladies, and gents. It’s machine washable. I mean, I played all summer with mine. Yeah. People keep asking what’s that you’re wearing? Um what they do actually are playing glove don’t like plain ones as well. Yeah. Um I think I think that’s a good constant reminder as well of what we should be doing. Well I be honest with you like I have ignored that fruit summer which I’m guilty of and if you saw in our last video where when I strengthen my grip how much better I was striking it. Well I didn’t strengthen it. I just made it neutral wearing this cuz I get tendency to get weak. Just made so much difference. So I think now after these tests we know why they sold £30,000 of golf club in two days at the British Golf Show this year. And um you know Nigel who’s on his way here eventually he will get here eventually. He was saying like a lot of them sales come from people that had just bought one glove in the first year they attend a British golf show. And honestly when they came back he were saying they were buying like half a dozen a dozen gloves. All the different colors as well. Different colors for the family. Everyone they know. Yeah.
