Brooke Matthews came into The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican 62nd on the CME points list. The top 60 get into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, which boasts a purse of $11 million.
Matthews’ final round at The Annika received an enormous boost when she aced the par-3 12th hole with a 9-iron from 143 yards to win a two-year lease on a Lamborghini Urus.
Matthews sits in the top 10 at The Annika and needs a strong finish to get into the top 60 and make her debut at the CME, which begins Nov. 20 in Naples, Florida, at Tiburon Golf Club.
Matthews then chipped in for eagle on the par-5 14th to jump into the top 3.
