The partnership introduces an innovative blend of traditional and alternative golf formats to the heart of Perth, aiming to attract new players, families and social golfers while capitalising on surging industry trends in participation and accessible play.

The OuttaBounds mini golf experience will include a market-leading, 14-hole GreenSpace Built Mini Golf course with dual pins for varied challenge levels, “oooh-ah” moments through creative terrain, and a central playground that integrates family-friendly fun directly into the golfing experience.

It will sit alongside outdoor simulators for casual range sessions, indoor simulators for weather-proof play on iconic global courses and a premium grass range for authentic practice. A vibrant food and beverage offering – fusing classic pub fare with bold Asian flavours – rounds out the venue as a go-to destination for social catch-ups, dates, family outings or solo swings.

The launch aligns with Australia’s golf boom, with more than 3.8 million Australians playing golf in 2023–24 – a 9% year-on-year rise, driven in part by off-course formats such as mini golf, simulators and driving ranges. Women now make up 53% of off-course golfers, reflecting the growing demand for inclusive, beginner-friendly environments.

OuttaBounds also aligns with the principles outlined in The R&A’s Golf for Smaller Spaces guide, which promotes sustainable, urban-friendly design to enhance accessibility, diversity and community engagement in restricted spaces. By offering tech-enhanced play in a compact footprint, the venue supports the global shift toward shorter, more engaging golf formats that prioritise fun, wellness and social connection.

High-tech features include precise ball tracking, real-time feedback, interactive challenges and immersive 3D simulations – creating an elevated experience for all skill levels, whether honing technique or competing with friends.

“This venue is about redefining golf as an inclusive, high-energy activity for everyone,” said OuttaBounds General Manager Nicholas d’Avoine. “Building on GreenSpace Management’s expertise with SHANX Mini Golf, we’re excited to introduce their GreenSpace Built white label product to Perth in a space that combines cutting-edge technology with family-oriented fun, directly responding to the industry’s growth in alternative formats and community-driven play. It’s not just golf, it’s entertainment that gets more people swinging.”

Peter Vlahandreas, Managing Director of GreenSpace Management, said the project was a natural fit.

“We jumped at the opportunity to work with OuttaBounds on this project. Their set-up is one of the best in the country, and now they’ll have one of the best mini golf set-ups to complement their outstanding facility and user experience. The synergies between GreenSpace and OuttaBounds are brilliant – there is such a strong vision from both to drive better golf outcomes for Aussies in modern, fun and inclusive formats.”

OuttaBounds Mini Golf reflects GreenSpace Management’s ongoing vision to modernise golf through innovative, world-class facilities that foster participation and enjoyment for all.
