FOREST, Va. (WSET) — Firefighters responded to a fire at a local golf course on Sunday.
The Forest Fire Department responded to a report of a brush fire at the Ivy Hill Golf Course. “The assignment was upgraded due to a Red Flag Warning, adding additional resources on the initial dispatch,” said FFD.
When crews arrived, they reported finding a fast moving fire. However, firefighters said they were able to quickly extinguish it.

Officials said they determined that a fire on Friday caused this brush fire.
Firefighters said there was no damage to the golf course.
