If this is what the samples look like, I can only imagine their production golf balls

testing some knockoff golf balls. Now, I approached a golf manufacturer and got a couple samples. So, today we’re going to be testing their three-piece Sterling golf ball. Now, I was really curious about these because from talking with them, it seems like they sell to a lot of those resell places that sell for really cheap and seem a little bit sketchy, but then they also make golf balls for like some big manufacturers. So, I was really curious about it. Threw the golf ball in there. They gave me the sample with just a random logo on it, and it didn’t really line up, but that’s again, it’s just a random logo. I wouldn’t expect it to. I’m mainly just using it to find where to cut down so I could see what either the best or worst part of this golf ball is going to be. When I’m cutting through it, it did feel really soft. But then when you take a look inside, it was just disappointing with how off center this core was. Now, you can tell by the mantle layer there, which is that middle layer. You can see it’s very thick up at the top, but then towards the bottom, it’s actually really thin. And so that means the core was placed off center, and this ball is going to wobble up in the air. And then it did affect the outer shell layer a little bit with the top area being again a little bit thicker than the bottom layer there. So overall, just not a great vibe and I would not trust these golf balls.
