Yeah, that’s okay. Perfect angle. Just try and drop behind the red. He doesn’t have to move it out. He can just play for it. Just drop behind. But make sure you give himself a nice little angle. Doesn’t want to be straight. Anywhere but straight. And he’s okay. He’s perfect. Nice little angle just off the cushion. Just drop this red in and it should be nicely on the black. Beautiful. Very very good. 53. Yeah, perfect. Well, Sullivan was looking good, but 55 missed that black and it looks very likely to have cost him. And Chang Bing Yu, credit to him, is standing up to this tonight. It’s a big match. This his first appearance of the last 16 in a big big money tournament. Remember who gain an extra 20,000 for winning the match. He’s playing the greatest player of all time. So, you know, in theory, there’s a lot of pressure on him, but he’s managing it well and he’s making the running in this match. 62. This is his third half century this evening, but importantly, he’s punishing the O Sullivan errors. That blue is frame ball. Still plenty of time. There’s seven frames left to play, but Chang has got his confidence up. 73 and he’s in front as they go to the break. It’s a clearance of 80 from Cham Bingu, the world number 104. He’s making the running here against the seven times world champion. He puts this. He’s got to keep one red on the table, I think. 15. Well, that surely is that for this frame. Missing the black. Sullivan 15 frame conceded. He’s conceded the frame and he’s in big trouble now because Champingu is just one from victory. O Sullivan will have to win the last four. That’s a lovely shot. 39. That’s a great example. When you’ve got a a loose red, you go into the pack, you know, you’re always going to be on that red and you’re developing reds, bringing reds into play. And well, he’s the best in the world at that. 47 48. Yes, it’s like you said earlier, Ken, you can find inspiration, you know, but he needs to find it now, not just in this frame, but for the next three as well. Yeah, he’s got to just play no miss snooker, no mistakes. 55. The performance so far has been error stone the frames that he’s lost just giving up easy chances and let his opponent settle 63 win frames and two visits. This is much better. He needs to do this and do it, you know, in a fashion from right from the beginning. He’s going to hold one back. 71. Well, we always say that the one to get over the line is the hardest one to win. And I’m sure that will be the case for Chan. This break has been going just over four minutes. So, it really is a quick kill. But that’s the thing, you know, in 20 minutes time it could be five each. That’s the concern, isn’t it? The way he scores in this mood. Eight. 86. Made his first century of the season yesterday. 87. 94 down to 14 seconds average shot time now. 48 seconds. 95. He needed something. And it looks like he’s produced a sentry. [Applause] Oh, what a shot he’s played there. 102. [Applause] [Applause] Wow. Well, it was dazzling stuff that a six minute century from Ronno Sullivan. 46. 53. Jangu 53. Well, that smile was masking a lot of pain. It was almost over, wasn’t it? He’s missed this. So, leads by 16. Yeah. And if he had to just float with the red in, he may not have missed it, you know. Instead, he tried to screw it in a little bit of side, but Ronny hasn’t played a great safety shot. He’s left this red. Okay. Back from easy, but he’s given himself a chance. No. Now, has he left it? Has he left it? Does it cut into the middle? may cut, but you see this. He’s got it. Oh, the Q ball is going to be close to the cushion. It’s not going to be great for Romeo Sullivan and he’s going to be forced. Well, does he take the pink on? If he takes it on and misses it, it’s match over. Very rarely does Ronny resist taking a put on. This is a massive shot. Must go in. Oh, that is brilliant. That is absolutely fantastic. What a pressure ball. Seven. Not many players in the game would play that shot. didn’t even think twice of it down. In his hands then to force the decider after all could easily been out by now. Eight, but we’re surely going all the way. That’s just 13. It just still amazes me. He played those pressure shots even left-handed. Blue 15. The pink was incredible. Really was. He’s done it throughout his career and he’s still doing it right age of 50 now. What a chance. Chance missed. Will he get another one in the final frame? If it goes, he just needs blue and pink. Not a problem. We’re in for a decider. Yes. When you get these great players on the ropes, you’ve got to knock them down. 33 and keep them down. Ronno Sullivan still standing here in Jedha. from 52 down and you can hear the applause from the crowd here. He’s won three on the spin. We’re going all the way. It’s five all. Well, there you go. Great red. Going to need a good black as well. Well, it’s so tough. I mean, if he tries to screw the black in and get the other side of the reds, this is very missable. But he doesn’t he doesn’t torn anything down, Ronnie Sullivan. If he sees the pot on, it’s the right shot. He’ll take it on. What a shot that was on the black. Yeah. Yeah. And you have to say what a difference between, you know, the red and and particularly the black and the fact that Chang turned down the blue. Will he get another shot now? He may wish he’ taken it on. Yeah, there was no reason for him to turn down that blue other than he just didn’t fancy it. 16. He was nervous. As I say, the boys 70. You’d see them in the academy in Dingjang’s academy. They just practice those blues all the time. You practiced them and you might need and he needed it. 24. And now Ronn Sullivan. One shot. He split the reds beautifully. One good pot into the middle here for the red. Nicely on a blue here on the ball color. 25. Not perfect. Dead straight on the blue. needs to slow up. It’s okay. Absolutely perfect. What a great shot that was. Forced the angle. Okay. 31. Golden chance to get it off. And again, it does show and the way he’s fought here, the way he’s come back, that winning still does mean something to him. He’s a great competitor. You can’t win as much as he has. 79 professional titles without having that competitive instinct, particularly when the chips are down. 46 47. Another beautifully controlled shot. Digging into the Q ball, avoiding the angle. Yeah, he really has torn this match on its head. It’s fantastic stuff. Some of the shots he’s played. So brave. 53. And he’s done it so quickly, hasn’t he, as well? I mean, 60. Amazing stuff. He’s having a shot time. Still 14 seconds. And that’s match ball. And you can hear the applause from the crowd here. It wasn’t looking good at 52. Chang Bing Yu was certainly the better player at that point. Sullivan found a way back into it. He made that terrific clearance in the last frame. 68. And well, a great red and black, wasn’t it, to get in in this one after Chang turned down the chance to take on the long blue 76. 77 Sullivan’s 34th season as a professional and still we’re seeing 83 the great play he’s capable of that we saw first when he was 16 when he turned professional that we’ve seen through the decades on various stages around the world now a new one here in Jedha Many people here of course seeing it up close for the first time. And what a sight it is. What a sight it is. There’s nothing better in the game, is there? You know, a real magician he is with the queue. This has been a virtuoso comeback from the best player that’s ever played the game. 98 yellow to finish with a second century a grandstand finish. Just needed one chance to get it won. 103 107. Chang’s had a great tournament and he’s played a good match, but he’s been hit by a force of nature in the end here. I don’t know whether Ronny will feel he played that well in the match. It doesn’t matter. has won the match and he’s won it in style and he’s still here at the Saudi Arabia Masters. A clearance of 125 from the seven times world champion. A great comeback from Ronnio Sullivan. He was deep in trouble. 5-2 down. He found a way and he’s the winner into the quarterfinals by six frames to

  1. He didn't win the World Championship because of the new cue and tip issues.
Now I think we can say he's sorted those problems out and he's right back in form.

  2. If you want to see the greatness of Ronnie. Watch the semi final last three frames against Mark Selby. No other player has that kind of belief or talent.

  3. Signing in from London UK, have always loved Ronnie. There is and has never been anyone better that Ronnie. He has good and bad times, don't we all. Best player in the world now and forever. xxx

  4. Fantastic Match, the experience of the old man beats the coolness of the young generation, but a fantastic young generation. We will be able to experience many more exciting offspring 👏

  5. Ronny is already a legend during his lifetime. Congratulations from Germany. Balm for the soul in turbulent times. I love it although i have no idea about these rules. I tried unsuccessfully for two years and i came to the realization ,for better nerves i should play Mikado hoping to defeat the trambling 🤫🤣🤣 no no not the alcohol just the nerves 🤣

  6. When he take the risk on that pink game changed. I think no other will pot that pink in that situation. What a player Ronnie. 👍👍👍👍🔥

  7. He's a nutter,no one else has brought the game into so much disrepute fighting and arguing with players and officials alike, arrogant ignorant but because he's english he can do no wrong.

  8. Would love to see these players with a camera on their person/shirt…would love to see them lining up the shots and cue ball action etc. But great play by Ronnie

  9. Yeah like the Saudi people care about snooker (!), empty venue when other players played, yet when ROS plays, everyone watches! 🙄
