Just a few weeks ago the brand new PGA TOUR Superstore opened in Cherry Hill… and at 40,000 square feet it really is a SUPER store for golf aficionados as well as tennis and pickleball.
I’m not a regular golfer but I was genuinely surprised by the size of the facility, the large amount of products available, as well as the indoor putting range and golf simulators.
The new PGA TOUR Superstore in Cherry Hill is located in the Garden State Pavilions on Route 70 (which is also home to ShopRite). PGA Tour is located to the left of the Burlington store. There is a new Chick-fil-A restaurant at the front of the shopping center along Route 70.
From a shopping standpoint, PGA Tour Superstore offers a full selection of golf clubs, bags, technology items as well as tennis rackets and more.
And the selection of sports clothing for golf, tennis and general activewear including sneakers… is also very impressive.
PGA Tour Superstore is much more than just a store selling products, they’re positioning themselves as experts in the game offering talented professionals to properly size your golf clubs, regrip your clubs… and even an on-staff golf professional to help you improve your game.
Right at the front entrance to the store your eyes immediately will be drawn to the large indoor practice putting green. My understanding is this is a free aspect of the store where you’re able to warm up your skills, as you move around the putting green aiming for a variety of holes.
The large open retail space offers multiple areas of professional golf simulators around the permitter, for a variety of uses.
Along the rear wall are six fully public “Practice Play” simulators which recreate some of the most challenging golf courses in the world.
The simulators feature TRACKMAN technology which tracks all aspects of your golf swing, and provides the most accurate representation of the golf ball movement on the virtual course that is projected in front of you.
This is a paid simulator service where you can book in 30 or 60 minute sessions, and if you’re looking to utilize multiple times in a month (particularly over the colder winter season).. ask the helpful staff about a discount membership where you can practice every day!
On the left side of the store are additional golf simulator setups which seem more dedicated to specific uses including a practice test area for when you’ve had new clubs fit it or new grips installed… as well as a dedicated area for golf lessons.
With the weekend coming up, Saturday is a special day for PGA Tour Superstores as every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. they offer free putter fittings and puitter clinics on the indoor putting green.
They also offer a variety of changing clinics such as Drive It Like You Mean It, Tee Time Tech Talk … or for this Saturday November 15th it’s Kid’s Golf Fun Day which is targeted for children under 13 years old. They will learn to put, Chip and swing through games and challenges designed just for young kids. Check online to reserve your spot!
