Is a video of Donald Trump touching and patting Bill Clinton’s crotch authentic? No, that’s not true: The first frame of the six-second clip is a real image of Trump and Clinton at a golf tournament in 2000 that was released by the Clinton Library in 2016. The rest of the video was created by an artificial intelligence tool, which is indicated by changes in background details compared to authenticated images of the same scene.
The video (archived here) was shared by the @NORCAL_icmag account on X on November 14, 2025. The caption read:

The photo of Trump and Clinton is an authentic image that documents an interaction between the two men at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament in Flushing Meadows, New York, in September 2000. It was one of several photographs released (archived here) by the Clinton Presidential Library on Friday, September 9, 2016.

Indications that the video was created by an artificial intelligence tool include the disappearance of a woman who is seen in the background between Trump and Clinton in the first frame.
