go you’re getting your numbers how many cores have you played inside the top 100 world top 100 I played exactly 90 of the current list that Golf Magazine 2017 list and they change the listen you get frustrated yeah you just kind of focus on what evolution gets you first never played here no how many courses in Scotland have you played I guess probably maybe 40 or 50 maybe more I don’t know it’s kind of one of these things I probably think I’ve played more than a half you’ve played more golf outside of Scotland by far yeah yeah probably play I do know roughly a three back 220 courses probably not like we were hating it but it was just like it would didn’t have the feel we felt like we were in the I felt I was in the Beverly Center which is a mall in Los Angeles but you got gala like 31 31 courses I don’t know what it is man but this place is like we were saying it’s like a highlight of the trip and I think part of it is just because it’s like it just doesn’t feel intentionally anything other than what it is no there’s nothing commercial but this is just this a pod crew people walk ride and enjoy themselves taking the scenery and tranquility and just an escape how do you think they took Devore their trees up here you think in 1891 that they had to take down all I’m seeing a Mach one driver make its appearance on the tee for the first time apparently Matthew is trying to hit this fall into the Sun I think someone in town just looked up this probably won’t make the edit but look at the hole it goes back up in the woods into a little del Connery who are you at Connery get that on camera I think I just played too much golf it’s alright we’re gonna just we’re just gonna calm down just gonna collect ourselves I had a bad lie the ball was a quarter of an inch above my feet you know which is really hard for me I like to about have an eighth of an inch below my feet but you know can always go to one one tip I’ll give anyone who’s going into the forest make sure you wear white pants that way you can see how much you get on your pants do what this must looks fresh you can actually see if you look closely in the murse you can only smell it there’s a bit like and back to the Erik Anders Lang and the crew continue the James Braid train at Gleneagles’ King’s course that’s a great example of parkland golf. The Gleneagles Hotel is a 5-star golf resort that hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup and will host the 2019 Solheim Cup this year.
The King’s course was designed by James Braid 100 years ago and is a challenging test of golf that’s laid out over the rolling hills of Perthshire.
In this episode, a Ryder Cup-style match between Scotland and USA is held, a guest of the show brings Paleo Cookies, and a sleeper 9-hole track is discovered.
