Kai Trump Follows Opening 83 with 75 to Finish Distant Last in LPGA Tour Debut

and ready. Joining me today after the second round of the Anukica driven by Gamebridge is Kai Trump. Um, Kai, good round today. Can you talk a little bit about how you might have felt more comfortable out there during your second round? Um, well, yeah, for the first day I was definitely really nervous. Um, and I think the nerves just got to me, but when I went out there today, I just felt very calm and like peaceful out there to be honest with you. Um, and yeah, that’s why I played better. Hi. Um, a lot of the players at the top of the leaderboard were talking about how they’re still nervous even though they’re major champions. What sort of takeaways are you going to take to college now that you’ve played in this event? I mean, honestly, just prepare. I mean, I did everything I could possibly have done for this tournament. So, I think if you prepare right, you know, the nerves can I mean, they’re always going to be there, right? But they can maybe be a little soften. So, I would just say that. Thanks. Yeah. Thank you. When your grandfather calls, what’s going to be the first thing you tell him about the day? That I had a great shot on 18 two days in a row. What about that shot on 12? Can you take us through that? Um, yeah. I mean, I almost made a hole one. Uh, I I hit like a tight little draw into it. Um, try not to get it too high because the wind. Um, but yeah, it was a great shot. Have you ever made a hole in one before? No, not yet. Yeah. Thank you. What was going through your mind after five with the triple coming back around turning things around? Just what allowed you to kind of have that uh you know getting yourself back in the game and and staying staying focused. Yeah, I mean things like that are going to happen. Uh and once it happens, you can’t go back in time and fix it. So I think best thing I could have possibly done was just move on. Like I kind of like I to my caddyy Allen I kind of just started laughing. I was like, “All right, it is what it is. We got that out of the way. Now let’s just move on.” So that was it was pretty easy to move on after that. Cool. Thank you. Yeah. All right. Thank you, K. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you.

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter still finished last in the 108-player field at Pelican Golf Club, six strokes behind the nearest competitor.

  2. Good job Kai! She learned a lot and got a lot of experience, that's what's important. Next year she'll be in college playing golf for Miami, it will be great watching as she progresses, she's a very sweet young woman.

  3. at least she was allowed to compete
cannabis consumers are probably disqualified from competing
