WEST PALM BEACH, Fla (CBS12) — Golfers teed off Friday for the annual Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Police Athletic League (PAL) Tournament and Awards Banquet, an event that united law enforcement and community supporters to raise funds for youth programs across the county.

Emceed by CBS12 News Luli Ortiz, the evening highlighted PAL’s mission of keeping kids active and out of trouble by connecting them with positive role models.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw was honored for more than 20 years of dedicated service to the league, while sponsors and contest winners were recognized throughout the program.

The tournament itself was hosted at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where participants turned their swings into support for local kids.

The night concluded with raffle prizes and applause for the golfers who helped make the 20-year celebration a success.
