The tournament offers a $6 million purse with life-changing implications. The winner takes home $1,080,000, representing 18% of the total purse. That follows the standard PGA Tour distribution structure for Fall Series events. Beyond the money, the champion earns 500 FedEx Cup points and 26 Official World Golf Ranking points.

A two-year PGA Tour exemption through the end of 2027 comes with the trophy. Major championship access significantly sweetens the deal. The winner secures spots in the PGA Championship and The Players Championship. However, this Fall Series event doesn’t include a Masters exemption.

The 2025 field ranks among the weakest of the PGA Tour season. Michael Brennan leads as the highest-ranked player at approximately No. 40 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Sam Stevens is the only other top-50 player competing this week. Just seven additional players from the top 100 in world rankings round out the field.

Rico Hoey leads the betting board following his strong recent performances. The most compelling storyline involves Sahith Theegala. The former rising star finished 3rd in the 2024 FedEx Cup standings with $7.5 million in earnings. He reached a career-high No. 11 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Then 2025 brought a dramatic reversal. Theegala currently sits 149th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings with just 282 points. His world ranking dropped from 13th to the 77th-97th range. Injuries derailed his season. An oblique injury in February, followed by a neck injury from May through July, forced withdrawals from major events.

The statistics tell the story. Theegala has zero top-10 finishes in 18 starts during 2025. He’s posted only two top-20 finishes all season. Other notable players include Matthieu Pavon, the top European, and Nico Echavarria, ranked 58th in the OWGR. Rafael Campos returns as defending champion after winning his first career PGA Tour title here in 2024.
