This will change the way you swing the golf club forever!
So this is my new rebranded channel and bang.
So feel force go. Let the forces teach your body what to do. It may sound like some technical mumbo
jumbo or something that seems uh a little crazy, but this is absolutely a must when it comes
to learning the golf swing. And I’m going to prove it. So, if you just give me a minute, I’m
going to show you exactly why and how important this is. So, this kind of started when I was
given a couple lessons. And I I give lessons and you know I see people struggle with all sorts
of different things in the golf swing, but the one thing that pretty much every bad golfer struggles
with uh is very apparent and it can basically be proven by just video and just seeing where the
golf club is right before impact. Now, I did a video on hinging the wrists and how important it
is to hinge the wrists, but all the hinging of the wrists is useless if you don’t get the club
lagging into the impact zone. So, and also the the act of hinging the wrists can be easily uh
simulated or actually done by just understanding the forces of a golf club. So let me explain. When
you swing a golf club, you are swinging a weight and that weight creates forces. Everything that
happens in a good golf swing can be felt through the grip of the club. Great players are applying
different forces to the handle of the club. Much different forces than bad players are. And that’s
literally the most important thing in golf. Now, I did say I was going to do a secret to golf video.
This is not the secret to golf video I was going to do. The video I’m going to do applies more to
uh controlling the club face through impact, which is very important. But this is the real secret.
This is the one thing that separates good players from bad players. And that’s all there is to it.
Every great player does it this way. They lag the club. Every bad player does not. And I would
say to you that you want to follow this channel, I’m going to describe to you how to finally get
this done in your golf swing. And I’m going to explain it to you in ways like so you’re going to
be able to feel your way through the golf swing. Okay? Positions are important. I like positions. I
like to for people to understand the positions you want to get into. But the G swing is a dynamic
motion. And I’m going to show you examples of amazing things that one in particular, casting
a fly rod. I know you think I’m crazy. I’m a fly fisherman and I definitely can apply 100% casting
a fly rod to swing a golf club. And if you think I’m crazy and you’re not a good golfer, you’re
never going to understand the golf swing until you understand this concept. Never. There is no way.
Okay, I guarantee you. So, this is the key. And I’m telling you right now, you might want to just
be like, if you’ve been struggling for years, you might want to just be like, “Okay, look, I mean,
it’s November, right? So, you’ve got months before the next season. I’d say it’s finally time to to
get this part of the golf swing right. I’m going to show you a very important video by a man. Uh
if none of you have heard of the golfing machine, it was a great book. I mean it was written uh a
long time ago 30 40 years ago uh by a guy who was a engineer. He was a mechanical engineer I believe
Homer Kelly and it’s it was literally the bible of teaching the golf swing for many people throughout
you know the last 40 years. And a lot of it still applies very much. Now, this guy did a video and
he talks about it as the secret to golf. And I want you to watch this. I watched this quite a
ways back and I thought it was genius because you know the funny thing is about golf instruction now
is they want to avoid this one thing and it’s just because they can’t teach it. It takes it’s it’s it
takes some time. It involves getting away from the golf ball for a little while and and when you take
golf lessons, you know, if if I’m charging money for a golf lesson, I can get the guy to maybe
hit a couple better shots. Like to me, that makes that person think that they’re actually achieving
something. But I have given so many lessons and I mean it’s like, you know, you kind of go why, you
know, you talk about it. I always talk about I go, “Well, you’re not really getting lag and you know,
you’re and and then they just want to kind of go somewhere else and they avoid the most important
thing in golf.” And it’s a hard thing to teach because, you know, learning it, like I said, it
requires some time kind of on your own. It does like you need to get away probably get away from
the golf ball and understand the motion so that when you get back up to the golf ball because
the golf ball is the enemy, okay? The enemy of the golf swing is the golf ball. When you take a
golf club and you swing it back, if you’re even swinging it back, which is part of my theory, most
people aren’t, and you get that club to the top, you’re trying to bring that club head back to
that ball as fast as P and that is your that is your downfall. That is 100%. And the golf
ball is your enemy. And if that golf ball is in front of you and you know and pride’s a hard
thing, it’s pride’s a tough thing. Like if you’re out there and you’re missing the ball or just not
hitting it good or shanking it, your pride gets to you and you’re just going to start throwing that
club out at it because you know people when they when they get lessons it’s like it’s almost like
they get embarrassed when they hit a bad shot and it’s insane. Okay, I understand good shots are
important to, you know, playing golf obviously, but your if your your swing fundamentals are that
far off, you know, a a occasional connection with a golf ball does not prove anything in terms of
you having a golf swing that’s going to be long lasting, consistent, successful, and have power,
effortless power. Okay? So here, let’s watch this video by this guy who’s a golfing machine. Uh
he has like a degree in the golfing machine, golfing machine instructor. And let’s watch this
video. Good morning. I’m Alex Sloan. Hi, your authorized instructor in the golfing machine. And
I want to make this tape for my favorite people in the world, the students of the golfing machine.
First thing I want to tell is a secret to golf. 1979. I had just turned 50 years old and a friend
of mine came by to see me at Pearl Point and he told me the secret to God. No one ever told me
this before. And I took this information he shared with me and that fall I won the Dixie Section
PGA senior championship thinking about nothing but I’m going to tell you right now the secret
to God. Go ahead. The secret of God is elusive, indispensable, and mandatory. You must have
it. Elusive, indispensable, and mandatory. You must have it. Don’t forget that. Okay. The
key to it is club head lag. That means that we never want the club head to catch up with our
hands when we swing. When we swing the club, we’re always leading the club head with our
hands this way. Those who start out playing golf are always throwing their club head at the
ball and as they do that they suffer all kinds of bad shots. The consequence of not having club
head lag. So that first and foremost in your golf game you have to have lag. It’s no if ends and
buts about it. You have to have lag. There are no ifands or buts about it. Okay. Now, I am sure that
you’ve all heard this before, and I bet a lot of you actually think that you’re getting club head
lag, and I guarantee you that, well, pretty much all of you are not. Um, and what’s interesting is
that I I know some pretty darn good golfers, and I’m going to show you videos of their swings, who
struggle with ball striking, and they just don’t really lag the club correctly. Now, okay. So,
what is it that I’ve discovered about uh lagging the club head? And now, Field Force golf is not
just about lagging the club head. It’s about all sorts of forces. It’s about forces that you use
from the ground to create this motion. What you have to understand is that we are we are getting
in positions which are definitely important, but those positions really weren’t much of a thing 50,
60 years ago. Okay? Uh those positions were kind of just gotten to. And the reason is is because
great golfers do this one thing. They understand the forces of the golf swing, the physics of
motion that people are not applying to their golf swing. They’re losing that aspect of the golf
swing. Now, I I last couple lessons I gave, I was trying to to get to a point where, you know, and
I’m trying I want to describe I like I did a video on hinging the golf club, and I never went so far
as to be like, “How do you know where to hinge the golf club?” Now, the golf club hinges, right?
Your wrists hinge. But where does it happen? Well, it’s just there’s there is no question where it
happens. It’s just it’s it’s created by the force by the force. A golf club is a weight. Okay? And
there’s forces. There’s inertia and there’s um basically it’s inertia. So inertia of the weight
of the club head creates is the basis for creating club head lag. And positions are just a result of
understanding that inertia. Okay? And people are getting it wrong from the very beginning, from
the takeaway. They’re not applying the correct pressures to the handle to make it automatic.
It’s literally automatic, you know. And I gave a couple lessons and I said to these people, I
said, you know, and one kid, he’s a good player. He’s just struggling with his ball striking a
lot. Like he’s a good player and he’s and he hits some uncharacteristically bad shots and he’s
and he’s just too focused on positions. I mean, it’s like, yeah, you want to get in position,
but he’s these two. I said to him, I said, “Well, you know, are you feeling the weight of the club?”
And he’s like, “No.” And the last two people, like, literally, they’re like, “No.” I like, and
I’m like, “You what? Like, how do you not if you don’t feel the weight of the club, you cannot
consistently swing the golf club.” And this kid is definitely struggling with his lag. He does
not hold his angles very well. He’s not getting lag coming into the shot. And when he told me he
wasn’t feeling the weight of the club, it just became obvious to me. And it’s just it just it
just struck me because that’s all I’m doing. I’m just swinging a weight, you know, and and I can
show you like um so here I’ll just show you real quick. This is uh from a swing of mine. Yes. So I
mean this is my position just before impact. Um, and you know, and am I a tour pro? No. But I cons
I hit the ball consistently. I never miss the golf ball. I don’t hit tops. I don’t hit, you know,
sometimes you hit it fat. I don’t, you know, on a mat. I can’t miss the ball. I can hit 50 whatever
clubs without ever missing the ball. They go a little left, little right. You know, some feel
better than others. Most of them are dead solid. Like I don’t I don’t really know what it feels
like very much to miss the middle of the club. So, um, and you know, and I’ll I mean, I could
show you my swing. So, my swing’s posted on, uh, on my channel, but, um, I mean, here
I am hitting a nine iron and, you know, it’s kind of how I hit it every time.
I I can’t miss a nine iron. I mean, I sit there and I I I videoed I
hit 50 balls on camera. They all went exactly pretty much like this. I
mean, some were better than others. And it’s going 150 yards. It’s 150 yard 900.
And I’m 61 years old. Here’s my driver. And I mean, to me, driver is the easiest club
in the bag to hit. It’s it’s all I mean it’s it’s it’s more demanding I think on you know on
a golf course to actually hit every fairway but on the range I could do this all night like
it’s it’s not hard and I don’t I don’t really I kind of hit the center of the face all day
with a driver. The faces are huge. Like how do you even miss it? So, here’s the thing. People
have lost touch with the most important thing in golf and it’s literally crazy. So, uh you know,
I I question I asked chat GPT and it came up with exactly what I’m looking for, exactly the thing
that I’m trying to talk about here. It’s called propriception or a kinesthetic awareness. And I’ll
read it. Most guy, this is like this is kind of my mission statement here. So, most golfers chase
positions and positions are important. It’s always a good to check positions, but real consistency
comes from feel. At Feel Forest Golf, that’s me. We use propriception and kinesthetic awareness,
kind of big words, but important words to help you feel the motion of the golf swing instead
of forcing it. When you, this is so important, when you sense the weight, balance, and forces of
the club, your body learns to move naturally and repeatably even under pressure. That’s how great
athletes move through propriceptive feedback. The unconscious loop between motion, tension,
and timing that creates effortless precision. When you stop fighting your swing and start
listening to it, the club teaches you. Feel it. Don’t force it. Let the force just teach forces
teach your body what to do. Okay. All right. So, uh I just wanted to to let you know that this
is the direction the channel’s going. Um there’s still going to be all sorts of assorted content,
but this is going to be the main focus because this is the most important thing. And so, please,
I think you want to get in on this. So, like, subscribe, and comment because I’m sure you’ve all
been through this. You all know exactly what I’m talking about. and you’re all looking for exactly
what I’m talking about. So, like, sub, subscribe, comment, and hit the notification bell because
I’m gonna start working on videos now, okay? And they’re going to start flying out. And this is
stuff you’re not going to hear anywhere else. I guarantee it. You’re not hearing this anywhere
else, okay? People are kind of leading you off a cliff when it comes to golf instruction. I’m
telling you that right now. It’s like I think it’s uh 1% of golfers break 80 consistently. That’s
unbelievable. That’s like a complete failure in golf instruction. But so we’re going to get you
all on track. Uh so yeah, so so like, subscribe, comment, hit the notification bell, and I’ll see
you soon. Very soon. All right. Have a good day.

A very fluid swing, much like your fly fishing casting. Some see the faults, but consistently hitting the ball like you do was enjoyable to watch and I look forward to watching your videos and working on my swing along the way.
Great looking forward to it
I like that training aid club that is like swinging a wet noodle. The other training aid I'm considering is that super heavy medieval mace thing without the spikes.
I am very interested
Get to the point
Patience my hacking friend… I'm gonna brave the cold today to do a lesson…just for you!
The hardest move in golf, is taking a divot infront of the ball 😅
Grip that bastard in your fingers Relax your arms and move it like a paint brush lag starts from the start of the take away
good golf discussion. i'm 75 and have been golfing for about 50 years and have been a 13 cap for 30+ years and just can't get it lowered than that but not for lack of trying with a lot of practice and play. I'm somewhat happy with my level of play and I think if I was going to get to a single digit it would have happened by now but always trying and working on it and I will be tuning in to your channel thnx for the info.
I’ll be 69 next month. Never had a lesson. I shot 74 years ago and I know I need lag and ground force. Going to WORK this winter to really improve. Can’t wait.
Lag to me as they used to describe it was needed n days of balata and high spin, its a different game now
I like what you're doing sir. You seem to have a ton of knowledge. But I highly suggest you move a bit quicker in the video and keep it under 10 mins.
The reason why students leave you is you don't know how to communicate.
Looking forward to the videos I could use the help thanks
Really enjoyed your video, I’ve read the golfing machine and watched that video multiple times and I still have so much to figure out, but at 78, I won’t quit until I do. Thank you.
You have a very natrual swing, your impact is perfect and i can tell you know where you weight is during the swing, which makes you very constistent. i've been playing for over 60 years, i am now 80 and carry an 11 handicap, in my 40's i was a 5. I have started flipping not feeling my club like i should, perhaps my clubhead is to light but i really do not know. You have opened my eyes again because in my younger days i always felt the clubhead. I cannot lag if my clubhead out races my hands before i hit the ball. You are very right, I have to get back to "Force Feel Golf." Thanks for your great tips.
Good News, 🎉 Thanks ***
Nice video but never answered or shows How to feel the weight ..How.to setup to feel the weight ..etc …
I'm 73 and used to be a Teaching Pro. at Doral CC and started in 1975. As I get older i find myself trying to get more distance and I try to FORCE it and throw the club at the ball, and it DRIVES me crazy. I'm in GA so I can get out and play. I can't wait to just work on this!!! Thanks so much. Dave C
I miss consistently topping or fat. What am I doing wrong? Not sure I am following your main point. I can let the club hinge back but I still missth3 ball on 5he down swing.
I have been pursuing this concept for quite some time(how about 55 years). It is an inherently difficult thing to translate from mind to body and vice versa. I think that one of the best examples is to watch the old videos of guys hitting with hickory shafts, like maybe Bobby Jones. It is the essence of fluidity. Oddly enough, my boss at the golf course, does this very well, even though he is overweight, never practices and doesn't always hit it pure. He has a lot of physical issues and that is why he doesn't flush the ball every time. The right way of hitting a golf ball is like comparing professional ballet to killing a snake with a stick.
what's your handicap?
this video is a real nothing burger
