Nicolai Hojgaard takes a commanding three-shot lead into the weekend at the 2025 DP World Tour Championship, the final event of the DP World Tour season.

The 24-year-old Dane is seeking a second title in the last three years at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

Hojgaard finds himself at 12-under par after a superb round of 65 on Friday.

He now joins his compatriot Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen in the final pairing of the third round at 12.40pm local time, which is 8.40am for UK fans.

Shane Lowry and Justin Rose are in the penultimate group of the day, also two shots off the pace in a tie for second.

Rory McIlroy is also in a tie for second and he joins Daniel Hillier in the third last match of the third round.

Elsewhere, Tommy Fleetwood joins fellow Englishman Laurie Canter in the fifth last pairing of day three.

McIlroy is currently cruising to a fourth straight Race to Dubai title and the seventh of his career – one that would take him one title away from matching eight-time record holder Colin Montgomerie.
