While you may picture snow-covered streets and dropping temperatures while thinking about the final month of the year, Paige Spiranac is starting her December on a sunshine-filled golf course in Tempe, Ariz.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the creator declared on Instagram that she was heading to the southwest state with Grass League for its last tournament of 2025. While unveiling the news, the former professional golfer also sported a long-sleeve, off-the-shoulder cherry red ensemble with adorable rosette details around the neckline—very fitting for the holiday season—and gave Grass League fans a rundown of what’s in store.
In the Instagram Reel posted by the league, Spiranac explained that the 2025 GL Championship will take place in Tempe. The two-day event, touching down on Dec. 5 and 6, currently has two-tiered tickets—GA ($32.69) and VIP ($108.96)—available for purchase online, and also offers single-day tickets at both tiers. Along with the competition, there will be a trio of musical performances, and the golfer will be grabbing the mic herself for the on-air broadcast, premiering on the Golf Channel for its Saturday showing.
“These tournaments are really amazing, with high-level amateurs, pros, men and women competing in team-based two-person scrambled tournaments,” Spiranac gushed on the competition’s format. She later added, “And if you have the opportunity to go in person, you definitely should.”
The model has an inside scoop on the inner workings of Grass League, which initially launched back in 2024. In May, Spiranac took a front-office position with the league in a “strategic leadership role,” First Call Golf disclosed, with “brand development, storytelling, creative, business development, and overall content and audience strategy” as some of the prominent items in her job description.
And while it has been roughly six months since the major move commenced, the golfer has even more ambitious goals in mind and envisions a higher position with the organization one day: as its commissioner.
In an exclusive interview with Forbes, Spiranac told the publication, “It is something I really want to do and almost manifest for myself because I feel like I have a lot of great ideas, I’ve been around the game for such a long time, and I feel like I can really help at that level.”
