Tyson Fury was inches away from the first true knockout of his career after eating a devastating overhand right. But that night, the rising star showed the heart of a warrior. In the leadup to the fight, there were bold words, mind games, and countless provocations. Only reason this dude is winning fights is because he’s big. Shrink him down to 6’2, 63, 64. He’s garbage. I’m just wondering if the bottom of Steve’s boots have been sponsored because as there’s going to be a lot of people watching around the world. His opponent, two-time world champion Steve Cunningham, didn’t have Fury’s size or reach, but what he did have was an absolute cannon of a right hand. Several times in the opening rounds, Cunningham tried to land it clean, and midway through the second round, he finally did. The punch came from nowhere, explosive, fast, and brutal. Fury hit the canvas hard, dazed, and barely beat the referee’s count at eight. As the action resumed, the Americans smelled blood and launched a furious assault. For the rest of the second round, the Gypsy King was on survival mode, eating massive shots, his defense crumbling, his legs shaky. But instead of backing down, Fury did what only a man with iron grit could. He taunted his opponent, invited more punishment. He wanted Cunningham to empty his gas tank. The third round kicked off with a savage exchange. Both men standing in the center and swinging with everything they had. Once again, Cunningham’s deadly overhand right found its target, and once again, Fury’s knees buckled. A timely clinch saved him from hitting the canvas a second time. By the seventh round, Tyson was clearly behind on the scorecards. The American had outboxed him, outworked him, and outlanded him. But that’s when everything changed. With little warning, Fury unccorked a brutal right hook from close range. It wasn’t wide or wild. It was short, clean, and perfectly placed. Just when it seemed the king had lost his crown, he reminded everyone why he’s called the gypsy king.

  1. The mere fact this wasn’t stopped and called is evident to the great white hype situation with white heavyweight boxers, it’s clear the authorities were giving Fury Chances way beyond anyone else..!?? If Fury was the one to land those shots the fight would have ended with the first Knockout, they kept him in after multiple TKOs..!? The man was pure HYPE….

  2. That would have knocked out a mule soon as tyson got up from that and got the win I knew he was special.

  3. Overhand right, his left was almost useless
Against someone like fury with his reach off the jab.But he caught him sweet

  4. Big but certainly never good in any sense of the word, he only had size that’s it…whenever he came up against someone remotely good his knees buckled ……a loser twice to Uzick 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. For me Furry is the most boring boxer I’ve ever had the displeasure to watch p. The only thing he has going is his size!

  6. He was right he only won because of his size, leaning on people with his sise snd weight. He had no finesse or real power in the history of fighters he would not have been known of in the 90s, 80s, 70s etc.

  7. What ever, 😂 tyson cheating here.! blatantly using his fore arm to hold cuninghams head in place.! And blocking 🚫 cuninghams vision so that he couldn't see the 👊🏿 punch, coming..! 😅 Tyson fury should of got disqualified.! Fury is whack..! Love from London ❤
