Colin Cowherd gives his take on the Cleveland Browns’ crowded QB room and where Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel will land on the depth chart.

Shadur is 6’2, historically accurate, and I have seen him standing around normalsized people. He’s big. He’s a big 6’2. Mahomes is 6’1 and a half. Aaron Rodgers, you never think about his size. He’s 6’1. Big calves, big risks. 63. Matt Stafford 64. Jared Goff 66. Joe Flacco. Eli was 6’5. Payton was 6’5 and a half or whatever he was. Dylan Gabriel is noticeably smaller and thinner than Bo Knicks. And Bo Knicks is not ideal size in the NFL. He is a very, very small guy. Shadur Sanders, he’s much bigger and much better.

  1. Haven’t you spent the better part of a year complaining about Sanders, Colin?

Sanders fans have been saying this all along, even non-Sanders fans. He is ready, but he’s being suppressed like a virus. It’s too bad once they let him out, he’s going to flip the culture. The legendary wrist will come up and the stands will go crazy … they’re all screwing themselves by waiting, or… They are building a fever pitch and much smarter than the rest of us

  2. Browns rookie QB Dillon Gabriel this season:
    • lowest passing grade
    • lowest success rate
    • lowest BTT rate
    • lowest positive grade rate
    • 3rd worst TWP rate
    • 2nd worst accuracy throws 5+ yards in air

Shedeur Sanders is the Browns' only hope

  3. “Shedeur Sanders, he’s much bigger and much better”

Colin is one of the most confusing people to follow. I don’t understand why the switch up. Like I’m genuinely asking what changed. Every analyst had Sanders being a first round pick. Almost every analyst was wondering if Dillon would even be a pick.

We all saw what happened in training camp, Sanders won and was rewarded by being forth on a depth chart. But Colin held on to whatever paid him think that Dillon what’s this amazing steal in the third round.

Was Colin just being a company guy? Or is he terrible at evaluating quarterbacks as well? What I mean by that is anyone who’s watch these two play for the Cleveland Browns can see that Dillon was not going to cut it. All training camp Dillon didn’t look good. But we were told not to believe our eyes. No one believed the snake oil that Stefanski was selling. And now, buy the numbers Dillon is statistically the second worse quarterback in the league. And if we’re honest, I think it’s worse than that because this was only the starters. I’ve seen some backups this weekend looking better than him.

None of this is supposed to be a knock on Dillon, it is just an assessment. So how did people get this so wrong? And what’s wild is the messaging from people in comments are saying that “Sanders isn’t any better” but they don’t wanna see him play.

People have their mind made up on Sanders based on lies, but when they see the truth with Dillon, they don’t wanna believe it.

I just wish everything was fair and people were held accountable to their words. No one is holding Kevin Stepanski accountable for saying it’s an open competition.

  4. For the 2 or 3 DG Stans out there do not ever try to compare DG to Cam only. That delusion does not match the draft reports, college records or current NFL rankings. Get over it DG is ranked last. There is no comparison.

  5. On a micro level, maybe the Sanders side has a point. On the macro level, we grow weary of professional athletes whining about this and whining about that. Ditto entertainers and Hollywood actors. Sports and entertainment are supposed to be entertaining. There is nothing entertaining about a seemingly endless monologue of me first, entitled celebrities.

  6. Stefanski brought gabriel thinking that he has got super IQ like tom brady, forgetting that tom had all that IQ while being 6'4, tom was not an athelete but his arm strength and determination to win was never a question

  7. Bro been talk'n mess all yr bout Sanders, save it! People already know what he can do. You get 3 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 sucka!!!

  8. He’s not 6’2 and he’s 6 feet on the dot.

He’s not historically accurate, he threw a historically high amount of screen and bubble passes, accounting dor 72% of his completions.
