It was neck and neck all the way until the very end today at the Moutai Singapore Open today before overnight leader Soomin Lee from Korea, the leader at the start of the day, edged ahead to lead after the third round with compatriot Jeunghun Wang and James Piot from the United States.
Lee, in front by two after round two, shot a 69 today, while Wang and Piot both returned 67s – on the New Course at Singapore Island Country Club.

So, who’s got off to a good start in this third round? Well, Thomas Peters is certainly one of them. This for a birdie at the third. It would be the first of four front nine birdies. Now, Sarah Sanarut, known as safe, twotime international series champion. Good start for Sarah as well. He would birdie the second and Australia’s Kevin Yuan who had a bogey free round of 800 par 64 yesterday playing this par five 572 yd par five that all the players are demolishing the easiest hole will find the first birdie of his round and Bo Kim the man with nine victories on the Korean tour one of those a co-sanctioned event with the Asian tour his shot into the third be one under par after three holes and James Pa the 2021 US amateur champion looking for his first victory as a professional at this tough opening hole 452 yd par4 up the hill make that putt for an opening hole birdie and will continue that on the second hole finding the green but it is an unlikely birdie but James Patt will have his putting touch on off to a brilliant start two under par after two jazz wants to know The 2019 Singapore Open champion started the day three back part is opening three holes. This second shot on the par five fourth and a magnificent one at that led to an eagle three and on the very next hole the par three. This for a birdie two and in three under after five but the overnight leader zoom in lead led by two starting round three par the opening two hoes that was his first birdie of the day on the par for third so a good start and here’s how it looks suman Lee’s lead down to just one over Jazz Jane Watton on and James Payatt three under and two under respectively for the third round. Thomas Peters off to a flying start. He’s just reached a turn and 333 under. So he’s on 11 under bar. Be Kim third shot into the par five seventh. Hit his second shot into a nice spot. Opening up the green and a perfect pitch. Yosuk Assaji started on the back nine, two under par on that nine and a birdie there on the third. He moves to 10 on the par. Exactly three years since Jazz Ginatan last one. That was international series Morocco. That was almost his second eagle in four holes. Now Matthew Jung 73rd on the Asian tour order of merit. He’s found the green here in two on the par five seventh. That’s good looking. Oh, good effort. This is 300 to clear that water. That bio is 30 yards over. And it makes the second shot so much easier when you’re coming in with a wedge instead of a a sixiron or a five iron. Kevin Yuan on this par 38. Tricky putt this one. Not for Kevin Yuan. That moves him to 12 under. He was just on the wrong side of that hump or that spine. Now this is going to be a big breaking left to right putt. Yes. First birdie of the round coming at the sixth for John Catelan. Chase Kepka also on the other side of the golf course or at least playing his back nine. Onto the back nine for Bo Kim. Birdie attempt at the 10th. It’s 14 players within two shots of the lead. We do like to talk about congested leaderboards, but this is a an extreme example. [Music] Now Jazz to move to four under par for his round. Now Jazz ties Zumin Lee at the top of the leaderboard. Chase Kepka for Birdie on the sixth. First group of the 10th this morning with Assari and Luton. As a Saraji this for a birdie to get to within one. What a scorecard. Wow. Jun Hong Wang coming out of the rough on the ninth. Oh, whoa. What a beautiful shot. It’s a double breaker. It’s going to move to his left significantly and then straighten out the last 10 12 ft. [Music] [Music] got on the green end too. Just trying to take out the first slope by chipping. Obviously very confident with his chipping. A bird attempt for Jung Hun Wang. moves to 12 under. Much better angle for Suman as well as coming out of the fairway. Ball is slightly above his feet. Wind is just into and off the right. That pin is on the left side of the crest or in the spine on the back side of this screen. Is at it. Assaji coming off backto back birdies and four birdies in the last five holes on a hot streak. I’ll count another one. Asi moving a tie with Suman Lee at 14 under. Michael Orange Shin hit it in the water here yesterday. Made a double bogey. Oh, how about an ace? What a shot. Much better stance for Bo Kim to attempt his bunker shot. Well done making it land soft. It’s almost impossible to leave yourself a straight putt on this new course layout. Pirates is about as straight as they come, but I still think you have to favor just the left edge. Wow. Just birdied nine and 10 and 11. Chong Wang up to 13 under. 102 into a slightly elevated green from his angle. Only about 3%. So that should play about 104 105 on a good line. Eagle putt for Pavet at the par 512 be a much needed one. Two over par on the back nine. Yes, Pav Raten on Wanosan second on the ninth. His finishing hole just eagled the seventh. He’s five under for the day now. Taylor Guch. Oh, there you go. He’s a dangerous man. Now moves to 12 under. And now it’s the Korean Wang. He shot at the par three 13th. Always had good control with his iron game. It’s actually a pretty simple looking up and down for James Pi. Even though he’s shortsided, he’s on the down grain section of the fairway cut, pitching into the wind. He’ll land this on a down slope about two yards onto the green, but he’s been tripping with great confidence. Should get a good amount of grab on this classy decisiveness and commitment going to be key to not getting caught up by the bluster to conditions this afternoon. All right, for a round of 66 for Ratan at the 18th, Anthony Kim for par. Oh, well done Anthony. That’s an even par round. Seven under par. Ali Schneider Jans at 14. Looking pretty happy with it. And so he should. What a good shot this is. And it’s in. Oh, Ollie Schneider Janss. That’s a bonus. Karen Vincent with his T-shot in a good spot just short right of this green. Very nice approach for Eagle. So that’s Tappen Birdie for Kieran now once again having a difficult lie in a greenside bunker. Had a tough one at the par 512 but extrocated himself nicely. Not a bad place to be this greenside bunker. be a comfortable bunker shot. Should be just about a 15 yd range. Still looking for that elusive first win. Kevin Yuan, 26y old from Sydney. And third shot as well for Bo Kim. Looks like played a much lower flighted shot into that back hole location. blasted out of the bunker is to get to 15 under for Wang Jong Hun finally breaks the log jam at the top of the leaderboard. All pars and one eagle on the back nine for Arley Schneider Jans. He’s got a chance to finish his round with a birdie. The club face laid wide open here. James P’s got to carry it over that shoulder. That certainly got it. Should grab. Yeah, that’s stunning. That round will end on the note it deserves to. Brilliant Saturday from Patt. See if John can end his day on a more optimistic note. Put a good swing on this. Oh. Oh boy. This could be really good. What a shot. [Applause] [Music] And that was just gorgeous from that far away to judge the pace like that. Fascinating days golf and I think we’ve delivered. Suman Lee, James Payatt, and Jun Hong Wang joint leaders on 15 under par. Then it’s Bo Kim and Yosuki Asaji at 14 under, three more at 13 under, five more at 12 under. Thanks for watching the Asian Tour on YouTube. Don’t forget to like and subscribe.

So this is a pitch and put competition
The pro on Asian tour are good. They made it look easy. Weather is truly humid, hot. It’s tough.
Looks like LIV are adding 3 more teams to the Rosta, so these golfers could be playing for a profitable invite
