STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State Women’s Golf added a pair of signings in their incoming class of 2026 on National Signing Day 2025, head coach Isabel Jimenez announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The international duo will join the Texans at the beginning of the 2026 fall slate. The Texans will lose a trio from their 2025-26 roster with three seniors set to graduate in the spring. Filippa Mortensen joins Mathilde Brogens as the only two golfers from Denmark to play for head coach Isabel Jimenez during her tenure with the Texans. Yanin Kongthawornwong will become the first Texan golfer from Thailand to suit up for Tarleton State in its Division I era.

“We are really excited about our fall 2026 class,” said head coach Isabel Jimenez. “Both of these signees are experienced players that are going to bring consistency and grit to the lineup. Both of these players have a clear goal in mind, they are coming to Tarleton State to continue and grow the success of our program.”

“Filippa has played both national and international events, that have showed her what it takes to win and get better,” said coach Jimenez. “She comes to Tarleton State motivated to keep on improving and perform at her highest level.”

Yanin Kongthawornwong will begin her collegiate career in Stephenville after her prosperous prep career in Bangkok, Thailand. She will be graduating from Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn School in the class of 2026 before heading to Tarleton State. At Tarleton State, she plans to major in business management.
