  7. Big take backs like hers can help with power but you have to be equally good at footwork and setting up early else you won't have the time to take back your racket that high. Footwork is often ignored and this shows how good athletes are in their footwork that they can afford a big take back. It is more common in the women's game as the ball speeds are lesser which is why you see male pros shortening their swings and take backs but for most average folks like us who play at the club level or lower, this is a non issue as long as there's good footwork.

  8. Great slomo video. Please do the same for serving. Everyone shows ball toss and racket swing but not how the racket contacts the ball. Please do a video on that!
