I’m kinda obsessed with these weekend warrior golf balls

Testing the first self-aware golf ball. Now, this is brunch golf. I met at the founders back at the PGA show and they told me all about their mission and their golf balls. So, you know, I had to grab some and test them out. One of the cool things I want to point out is they actually come in four sleeves of four. So, you get 16 balls with these. And what makes them self-aware is they all have little phrases on them. So, like the 69 balls instead of the four ball. And these ones remind you that the balls can’t swim, so don’t hit them in the water. Now, this ball might not be able to swim, but that doesn’t mean it can’t do a full test. So, I threw it in my sweet spot checker to see where the sweet spot on this golf ball was. And to my surprise, it came out in the best spot possible. It’s actually right around where the logos are, which means when you’re hitting these balls, you just want to hit the logos. And because the sweet spot was so perfect, I had to chop it up to see what was going on inside. Now, these are a three layer golf ball. And once you pop them open, you could definitely see all three layers there. We’ve got the urethane outer shell, then the mantel layer, and the inner core. And one of the really cool things about this golf ball is it’s actually pretty much perfectly center, which you don’t see a lot of the times in smaller brands. And the inner core feels soft in the best way possible, making me think that this might be the perfect ball for the weekend golfer.

  1. I think this review may be biased because why would the logos be the best spot for that to be? Wouldn’t the best place be the alignment aid on the ball?
