I’ve thrown the Kastaplast Göte for a long time — but this is the first time I’ve done a full review of my Tour Series version. In this video, I’ll share why this disc has earned a permanent spot in my bag, and what makes the Göte one of the most consistent midranges I’ve ever thrown.

We’ll look at the stamp design, feel, and plastic quality, then head to the field for a few test flights. I’ll also break down the Göte’s flight numbers, and how it performs in different conditions.

If you’ve been curious about the Göte or just love smooth-flying mids, this one’s worth a look.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Or if this is my first time seeing you, what’s up? My name is Dallas Garber. I’m a 17-year-old professional disc golfer from Gresham, Oregon. Uh, this is just kind of starting out on YouTube trying to figure out, test the waters. Um, if you if you like this channel, hit that like and subscribe button and follow along on my disc golf journey. Hope to see you guys in the next videos. Thank you for watching. In this video, I’m going to show you my Casiplast Tour Series K1 Hard. First off, look at the stamp. I designed this stamp. It’s just a cool guy with some cool sunglasses. Even though it is green, it is bright, bright, bright green. Um, I absolutely love the way it looks, the way the stamp came out. And it just is nice to see my name right there. Different ideas. Some of them like going on the play uh play of words like making a joke about the name of the yolt. Some Americans call it the goat. Um, so like initially the stamp design was maybe like a goat head or something like that, but didn’t like it at all. Just stuck with the stick man. And glasses is also kind of part of my brand with Wild Rose Athletics. I have my own uh signature glasses on their website as well. So I just think it fit me really well. Um, I really like the stamp and I really like this disc. It is possibly my favorite mold from this brand. It is a four-speed mid-range, five glide, zero turn, one fade. Very controllable. Uh because of that zero turn, one fade. It has almost no movement in its flight whatsoever. Once you put it on that hiser or that flat shot, it just kind of stays straight and rides the whole way. And it says five five glide. I really think it’s more of like a six glide. This thing just stays in the air and it keeps pushing forever. But it’s really slow. It’s only a four-speed. So super super glidy. four-speed mid-range that is extremely controllable and just goes dead straight. What sounds better than that? I can’t tell you. This is the best mid-range that I’ve ever thrown in my life. Um I know there’s some bigger brands with some really well-known molds, but I may maybe it’s just the the nichess of Castlast and having this disc, but I just love it. I think I’ve I’ve been throwing the Ya for a while, maybe a year and a half, two years. So to finally have my name on it and have myself represent this disc, I think is just so so awesome. And I absolutely love the way it came out. So looking at the rim, you can see that there is a slight little uh dome to it. It’s not much, but it’s definitely noticeable. It’s not a flat top, and you can see it’s a very blunt edge. Um definitely a slow disc with that extra glide in the top. Um, from what I’ve seen, the pink ones did come out a little bit taller. So, the green ones are flatter and they do fly a tiny bit more underststable than the pink. Uh, my preferred disc of choice between the two is the pink one just because of the extra stability. And I think it has a little bit extra glide. Uh, but if you want something that’s a little bit more flippy, maybe goes a little bit shorter distance, green one is your choice. I think they both look cool, though. Enough of the chitchat. Let’s get to the juicy part of this video. what you’ve all been waiting for. Let’s see how they fly. This hole two at Blue Lake. Um it’s about 400 420. Not going to really be going for the basket because this is a only a four-speed disc. I’ve got a bit of a tailwind. Maybe 10 miles an hour. First one I’m just going to show a slow, smooth, controlled shot. Just hopefully right down the center of the fairway. That’s the goal. Haven’t thrown this one specifically yet. These are both brand new out of the box. See how it works. It’s changing to headwind now, so that might affect it. Well, that one went far and it went dead straight even into a headwind. It’s a great disc for that reason. All right, now let’s see a little bit more of a power shot. I’m going to really get into this one. going to have a bit of a run up. Um, maybe I can reach the basket if I don’t hit the branches. All right. Ah, just turned it over. Tried to throw too hard. Still though had some integrity. It didn’t really burn over immediately and uh turn into a cut roller even into some headwind. Those are some good flights. I’ll go throw those back. See how they fly in the next shot. Different wind, right? Yeah. No. Trying to There we go. Look at that flight. Super glidey. Super just straight like out of my hands on. Here’s another but not the K1 hard plastic. You see how that turns a little? That’s the difference between normal that this is also just a normal K1, but this one’s extremely beat. My flippy one. So, see how that is huge hiser still turning the entire way. So I do back three of the that K1 hard pretty stable kind of hij the whole way. Normal K1 pretty straight turns a bit and then the other K1 that’s really beat in turns the entire way in this flight. Um I like them all. Uh, as of right now, I probably throw the normal K1 the most just cuz it is a bit of a hiser flip up, which is my preferred ankle. But I mean, the K1 hard the tour series ya looks the coolest. Um, I probably throw out the second most just for those shots. punching a flat mid-range and having a hold and then fade at the end is really really needed on almost any disc golf course in the world. Yeah, I think it’s a great disc. It’s the reason I bag three of them. Even if you haven’t heard of it before, now you have castlas ya, specifically the Dallas Garber Casplazi Yota and K1 hard plastic. There was the disc review of the K1 Hard Ya my tour series disc from Castlast. Like and subscribe to see more content like this one.
