This year, my channel was stacked with reviews from the latest Spiked golf shoes. From Nike’s Victory Pro 4s to the Jordan Air Revs to the FootJoy Hyperflex, and even the Painter 87 SC, just to name a few. I’ve tested a pretty good amount of golf shoes this year. And with Adidas’s Tour 360 2024s, FootJoys Tour Alphas, their premier series, and their traditions all still in the mix, it’s finally time to settle the question. Which were the best spiked golf shoes in 2025? So, let’s break it down now before you buy your next pair heading into 2026. I’ve included affiliate links to buy any of the shoes mentioned in this video in the pinned comments below. The links are there to use if you’d like to support the channel as I might earn a small commission, but no worries if you’d rather buy any of these shoes from anywhere else. So, let’s start with the most comfortable spiked golf shoes. Any of these shoes will, I think, be one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes that you’ve probably ever owned. Now, the runner up this year is the FootJoy Hyperflex. Now, these have a really good amount of softness under foot, and they are very comfortable around the tongue, the ankle, and the heel section here. You can see they have got plenty of padding there. I didn’t have any issues whatsoever in terms of breaking these shoes in or getting blisters. I’d walk the course for 18 holes with these shoes taken straight out of the box, and they were absolutely perfect. They have this sporty, athletic design look to them. Although for this category, I’m only really thinking about the comfort available from these shoes. And these are really nice and comfortable. These shoes do have quite a close snug fit. So, if you’re not a fan of that and like a little bit more wiggle room and a bit more space above the top of your toes, these might not be for you. But if you do like that really secure locked in fit, then these are offering some fantastic levels of comfort. If you are going to buy a pair of these, then in terms of the fit, I personally size down half a size when it comes to the Hyperflex. But the winner for me for most comfortable golf shoes in 2025 are the 2024 Adidas Tour 360s. Now, these were actually my favorite spiked golf shoes of 2024, and you can see why Adidas have chosen not to release an updated pair of these. In terms of comfort, these are giving you fantastic underfoot comfort with this boost midsole at the rear here and then the light strike foam at the front. These are, I’d say, slightly softer than the Hyperflex underfoot, but they’re still a really quite stable golf shoe despite all that underfoot comfort. I tried the Hyperflex and these on side by side just now, and I would say that these have got a little bit more room in that toe box. you can’t feel any of the upper material necessarily on the top of your toes. And personally, I just preferred that fit between the two. Now, previously, Adidas have had a bit of a problem in my opinion with the fit, especially around the ankle and the heel section of their Tour 360s, and I’d always have to, you know, wear them for a few rounds and break them in and probably put a few plasters on for the first couple of times I wore them. But with the Tour 360 24s, Adidas changed the last that they used for these shoes and the way that the heel and the ankle were sculpted, which meant for me, I didn’t have to worry about blisters whatsoever. I walked 18 holes straight out of the box in these shoes, and they were comfortable from the very beginning right the way to the end. The leather upper is nice and soft as well. And because these are a leather shoe, then they’re just going to get more and more comfortable and more molded to your feet the more you wear them. If you’re thinking about grabbing a pair of these, when it comes to sizing, I actually recommend going up half a size compared to your regular shoe size. Next up, let’s talk about the best performing golf shoes. So, in terms of performance, I’m talking about traction and stability. All of these will do a great job out on the course. Now, my runner up for this are the Fjoy Tour Alphas. You can see from the size of these shoes, they’ve got a fair amount of substance to them, and they are just packed with technology designed to give you the most stable platform that they can provide. You can see here that these shoes really do not want to twist at all. And that’s in part down to the significant TPU outsole that you’ve got on these shoes. You can see here that it really does kind of spread quite wide, giving you a significant platform to start from. You’ve also got a really significant TPU heel counter here at the rear. And then you’ve got this TPU outsole section as well, rising up on the outside and the inside as well of your heel section. All designed to give you that stability out on the course. Now, these shoes are surprisingly comfortable as well. There’s a lot of cushioning going on here with the Orphalite insole. It really is nice and soft out on the course and you’ve got this nine spike pattern here on the outsole. So, you’re not going to worry about slipping out on the course with these. They are a little bit on the heavier side compared to some of these other shoes, but again, that’s kind of lending to the stability. And in terms of the looks and the design, they’re quite a substantial design to them. That might be good for some or other people might not necessarily like the look of these shoes. But in terms of Encourse performance, you’re going to be hard to beat these shoes. But the ones that did, and what I think are the best performance spiked golf shoes that you can get in 2025 are the Painter 87 SC’s. And the first thing I can tell is that they are significantly lighter than those FootJoys just from holding them. But they’ve still got a lot of tech packed into these to make these a really performance focused shoe. Now, the first thing you might be able to make out from the outsole or through the outsole is that you’ve got a fulllength carbon fiber shank running along the bottom of these shoes to really help in terms of stability as well as propulsion with these shoes. You’ve also then got a pretty significant TPU outsole as well as a dedicated hill counter going around the rear of the shoe there. What I like in terms of performance of these as well is that the outsole isn’t particularly thick. You really feel like you are in these shoes because of the booty design and you really feel connected to the ground. You don’t feel stacked up too high. So, out on the course, I really like the performance that these shoes are offering. And so, that’s why these are my winners for this year. Next up is best value. And if you like the idea of getting the most for your money, then you’re going to want to sign up to my free monthly golf deals newsletter. I send out the very best discounts and online golf deals that I find each month straight to your inbox. It only takes 30 seconds to sign up, and I’ll include a link down in the details below. Now, for the best golf shoes, I’ve not factored in previous generations of shoes, although remember that you can always get some really good discounts if you’re willing to buy the previous iterations of shoes. My runner-ups are both the Adidas Tour 360s and the Fjoy Tour Alphas. Now, because both of these have been out for over a year, but they are the current versions of the shoes, they’re already in some pretty significant sales. So, that’s really going to help in terms of value for money. If you can find either of these shoes for around the 100 pound mark, you are getting a seriously good deal and a lot of Spike golf shoe for your money. But I don’t want you to have to rely on discounts and sales in order for a shoe to be good value. So that means my winner this year for best value spiked golf shoe are the Nike Victory Pro 4s. Now although these are only £130 brand new from Nike, I have already seen them in the sales as well for around £100. But even at full price, these shoes are no longer really seen as the takedown model of the more expensive Victory Tour fours, especially given that they are currently worn by both Scotty Sheffller and Tommy Fleetwood. These shoes are surprisingly comfortable both under feet and in terms of the fit. There’s actually a surprisingly nice amount of room in the toe box. You don’t feel too cramped and you’re still getting a good amount of support, stability, and traction from the outsole. I’m not entirely sure how much stability I’m getting from this TPU section which is connecting the outsole upper to the foam midsole, but it’s there and it looks pretty cool. And generally looking at these shoes, I don’t think you could tell that they are a takedown version of the Victory range. They’ve actually got a little bit more in the way of padding around the heel and ankle. So means these are offering possibly some superior comfort compared to the more expensive versions. So, now we’ve come to what I think are the best overall Spiked golf shoes that you can buy in 2025. Now, for this, I’ve combined everything. Comfort, performance, value for money, as well as their overall looks and design, too. And the runners up for me are the Adidas Tour 360 2024s, which probably isn’t that unsurprising given that these were my favorite shoes of last year, and they’ve already been pretty well represented in the earlier categories. To sum them up, I think you’re getting really impressive levels of comfort from these shoes, both in terms of underfoot as well as the soft upper and the improved heel and ankle design. You’re getting some top levels of stability and performance out on the course. And I think they just look like a classy shoe. They’re modern. They’ve got some really nice pops of color, but they’re going to be able to be worn with pretty much anything that you want to style them with out on the course. And the fact that they’re still current, but they’re over a year old, means that you can get some pretty good deals in the sales. But for me, the overall winner this year has to be the Painter 87 SC’s. For me, this shoe does the best job of combining seriously impressive levels of comfort, but still managing to be a really stable shoe. And on top of that, I think this looks absolutely class as a golf shoe. It’s got a little bit more of a classic style while still looking modern as well. Again, it’s one of those shoes that I think you can pair pretty much with any outfit that you want to wear. It is as well really quite surprisingly lightweight and I love the fact that you really sit deep in these shoes and feel connected to the ground. The nitrogen infused midsole is surprisingly soft and comfortable underfoot. The booty design means it’s got a fantastic level of waterproofness as well. and you’ve got some just classy touches in terms of the style and design choices on this shoe. Yes, it’s slightly more on the expensive side, so that could be a factor for you, but in terms of the looks, design, comfort, and performance, the Painter 87 SC’s are the winner this year for me. Let me know if you agree or if you have a different favorite Spike shoe for this year. And I appreciate that I haven’t managed to review every pair of shoes, so let me know what I’ve missed out that you really love.
