The Edund veterinarian at the center of public backlash for a comment about the assassination of Charlie Kirk is now addressing the closure of his clinic. The now deleted Facebook post appeared to endorse Kirk’s murder. And days later, the General Care Animal Hospital near 178th in Penn was forced to shut its doors. New tonight, News9’s Matt McCabe has heard from the doctor and the people on his staff who say they no longer associate with him. He joins us live here in studio with that. Matt Amanda, Dr. Chris Raspoli has vowed to never practice medicine again, effectively ending his career. But he said his 12 employees who have denounced his words are also now jobless. After almost two weeks of public outcry, the owner of this Edund Vet Clinic is addressing what he now acknowledges were hateful and insensitive comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In a now deleted post that was screenshotted and shared across the internet, Dr. Chris Raspoli suggested the assassination was smart. His team of former employees shared a collective statement with News9 saying in part, quote, “It does not represent who we are as professionals or as a team.” They also clarified, “The clinic remains closed and Dr. Raspoli is no longer practicing and will not return to the field. The heat of this specific incident has risen to the nation’s capital. We have a veterinarian clinic in Oklahoma City right now that one of the veterinarians posted something just absolutely horrific about now we’re culling out the sick ones uh right after Charlie Kirk was murdered uh that now there’s been big push back through that veterary clinic. In his own statement, Dr. Raspulli said in part, quote, “My focus now is on reflecting and working to become a better person. I will continue to support my team and to make amends to the community I have wronged. I have no expectation of being forgiven, but I am committed to demonstrating through my actions that I am truly sorry for the pain I have caused.

This veterinarian is very very stupid. The backlash is not about politics. But this idiot does not realize (how I don't know) that in the U.S. people often think of their pets as family members. They want a doctor they can trust in the healing sense. So I might be a dyed in the wool leftist but oh no, I wore the color red. Maybe now, the vet thinks I'm NOT his political party and therefore would murder my pet? It's perception. So this moron of a human not only gloats over a human being murdered but then POSTS it on the most public medium ever invented? He gloats not over a criminal dying but a law-abiding human being murdered? And then Dr. Retardo wonders why people don't want to entrust a family member to his care? That level of stupid has no word yet in the English language.
I dunno. If I were this doctor I would wonder if some pet owner whose pet did not do so well at Gentle Care AND who is not a left-tard NOW suspects good ol Dr. Stupid of maybe OFFING the patient? I know how I feel about my furbabies and if I thought my vet did anything? That vet would be in clear and present danger of ME. So while I'm not a danger to this doctor, ANY client who had a pet who did not "thrive" under this doctor's care? That client might not be understanding about anything. Frankly I would not blame the client. I would wonder. And I would not be "innocent until proven guilty" at all. Not one bit. ANY CLIENTS OF THIS DOCTOR? HOW DID YOUR PET DO? WELL? NOT SO WELL? MAYBE…MAYBE YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO THIS DOCTOR ABOUT THAT.
