RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – As the fall golf season winds down, Rapid City’s Meadowbrook and Executive Golf Courses are preparing to shift into winter play mode with adjusted rules and layouts. Golfers have until Monday, Nov. 17 to enjoy traditional play at Meadowbrook before winter policies take effect. Executive Golf Course will began its winter season on Nov. 10.
Both courses will feature reverse layouts during the winter months. At Meadowbrook, play will begin on hole 18 and proceed backward to hole 1. At Executive, the winter layout starts on hole 9 and ends on hole 1.
Golfers are welcome to walk and play Meadowbrook at no charge, though no rental or private carts will be permitted. Temporary tee markers will be placed in the fairways ahead of the greens. Executive Golf Course will also prohibit carts and will operate on a donation-based model for winter play.
